Kobe actually watched tape from 93 finals, just to get some what of a feel of how Doc Rivers is gonna guard him? The man is incredible..

Eh, Gasol's offense has largely come when Boston bigs double the penetrator (which is a problem in itself) and leave him open underneath or for an easy putback. He's not really taking Garnett down in the post and working him, so I wouldn't worry too much on that front.

As I said a few posts back, what really concerns me is how effective Gasol's defense has been.

I mean look at Kobe out there, 4 rings going on 5.... and the new generation claims Lebron and Carmelo are on the same level??? come on now... know the game. Winning is everything when you are Elite in the NBA. Don't crown people so early. Makes me sick.

Agree. He usually uses his length, and only that; he is not known for blocking shots at all.

Gasol's post defense has been DPoY worthy so far.

Pierce swinging elbows at Ron... You can see Ron coming down the floor talking to Pierce about it... how can they miss all of that but then call these touch fouls?

Melo and LeBron have three skilled 7 footers and a PG that makes shots when they count like Fisher? Or a great coach?

Gasol defensive level is nothing new. He often plays soft, but when he plays hard has unique potential, look at that body. We've seen him play great defense against Howard, Boozer, Amare, Yao, etc. His problem is his regularity, the potential is amazing, because has also the foot speed to defend outside.

    give Lerbon whatever you want.

Everything about him is an "if" until he actually develops legacy.
