as i said before, i would personally start lowry over conley....and that very well should happen as conley started over lowry before because of the draft position was taken at. i only included conley really to make salaries match and give us further trade bait later. things i wanted were to maintain a lotto pick, we fulfill our need to rest scola and yao.....and big time imo with this trade. and we transition ourselves to better fit the offense that can play with yao. people like ariza and AB had inflated numbers this year because they were called upon. their numbers are gonna drop because yao will command his 10-15 shots a game again AND we'll have a slower offense. slower offense = more defense need. more defense needed = weakness in brooks and kmart.
lol M Gasol over Hill...maybe, but Not IMO. *MEANING* People would possibly take Marc Gasol over Jordan Hill, but I would not. In my opinion. I didn't intend to make any reference to age.
ohz....hahaa my bad. jordan hill has alot of upside, but marc gasol is a solid 7'1. is extremely skilled already. and still has much room to improve. obviously, hill has a higher ceiling but as we have seen, big men's ceilings aren't as reachable as smaller players. such as, i think it's less gamble to bet on derozan than it is on hill. and in this trade, i see randolph as over jordan hill and marc gasol filling our immediate need.
again, a blockbuster trade like this won't 99.99999999% happen but......with all the tired/played-out bosh to houston ideas.... just wanted to be original. if we move laterally in this trade talent wise, at least we fulfill positional need, which in the end will still translate to more wins. in espn trade machine, we are projected to win 4 more games with this trade. (which i know isn't entirely accurate but from a statistical per standpoint, i can at least argue that it does)
Boredom, I guess, brings you delirious thoughts! Somehow with this 4-team trade proposal, Rockets get most of Memphis' roster. We don't need that. And as for Toronto, besides Bosh, I'd rather get Jarrett Jack. On another note about this trade, is you have Bosh staying in Toronto. Bosh is done in Toronto. Mark it! HE'S LEAVING THIS SUMMER!!!!
i mean, what if we get the #6 pick and one ther other late grizzlies pick, and they give darrell arthur to toronto. like i said, draft picks can easily be swapped to make this trade seem more fair. i think the only team that only kinda loses out in talent is gsw but......it gives them more player that fit that type of offense they play and gets rid their main bargaining chip. they still get a former #1 player too who has much upside as well. big thing i think for them is that they get to have curry as their main pg.
The point doesn't matter. It's a FOUR TEAM TRADE!!! Someone needs to work up a 10- or 12-team trade. And of course it would need to make each of the involved teams "better."
You are suggesting a trade that would make a starter in Gasol a backup. Why? Yao is working hard to come back, and Hayes, Hill, and Andersen are good enough to be backups in this NBA. Hayes is good enough to start, so I think this trade is pointless. Kevin Martin is not going anywhere, and neither is Brooks.
reasonably, scola is getting older and yao's health isn't fully there. The way i'd put it, the minutes would play out into gasol's hands alot better. AND we would match up well against all the teams. for a faster run and gun team, we can have yao rest alot with scola in at power forward and gasol @ center. against a towering team like the lakers, we play gasol at pf and yao @ center. randolph is our main main project who can play 3-5. and derozan is another project who can play 2-4. if anything, like i said before, it is a lateral move in talent but gets us better positional match ups and fits our best player, yao. as much as i love yao and AB (and tmac and landry and etc. before)..... there are pieces i think we should trade to get better. i think AB's trade value will never be higher and we should capitalize on it. the closest a team ever came with a player like brooks to winning a championship is the iverson 76ers....and that presents two problems. AB is nowhere close to the talent level that iverson was and that team was built so that iverson can jack up 30-40 shots a game and everyone else was lockdown defenders.
Sorry thats a terrible trade giving away kevin martin for undersize sg on oj mayo that does not have the best attitude, anyways morey wont go for it
Lowry would have unforunate deja vu  interesting moving parts but yea its crazy i wouldnt like that move cuz our backcourt of Brooks/Martin was more successful than Conley/Mayo, Ab is better and more clutch than bothose guys imo
That lineup and trade sux. The rockets would give up to much to get so little in this trade. You sir should not be playing with the trade machine!
Not a very probable trade but If you buy a PS3 or Xbox360 and a NBA video game you could pull it off... Play the entire season and let us know if the rockets go all the way..
