(Note this post will be merged with the trade therad as soon as I knwo that deve has read it).

I am going to try and put this as easy and lightly as I can. You have to stop this maddness. A group of us met last evening in chat after you left and came to a FBB decision. It was spearheaded by SF3,since he is the commish, and the following plan was thougth by the 8 or so of us in attnedance to be a good idea. The plan is as follows:

    1) Since your trade with Cat was posted for 50 minutes while Cat was signed on and he never confirmed, It was voided. The post has been removed and SF3 will not process it even if it is reposted.

    2) It was decide that your own teams number 1 picks for the next 2 seasons are being held up. You will not be able to trade them for anything. Those picks will be top 10 and most likely be top 5. You are allowed to trade anything else on your team as well as any 2nd rounders. Also if you start a trade frenzy on your #1 pick way down the road this freeze may be extended.

We do these things for the sake of the Lakers. we are tired of seeing you make bad trades after asking people for their advice and hearing that the trade is bad. It seems like all anyone has to do is say Deve don't make that trade and you do it. And pulling out the old " I don't know what I am doing..." or the "I am stupid please void that trade" is gettign old. You have been here long enough now to know how these things work. This is your second stint on some sort of probation. I would be most assured that there will not be a 3rd. You need to get a handle on your habit of making bad trades(and don't even try the " I made good trades in MDuke's league". We all know that most of the guys over there are dumber than a box of rocks). If more than one owner says don't do that deal, that probably means it is a bad deal. Take it for what it is worth turn it down and move on. Don't keep beating it until it looks like a winner. Also if you will notice no one in any of our leagues averages 4 trades a day. Maybe that should tell you something. It does not take constantly changing your roster to build a good team. Good trades come along only every so often(unless the offer is from you then they are more frequent :p), not every 5 minutes.

If all this seems harsh, all i can say is what I tell my football kids' "If you don't like it go home and cry." It is time to do something fairly drastic to see if you will take notice. Hopefully it won't come to anything worse...

Great Post Castor, but one quick query, does that mean you are going to recall your one sided trade you did with him recently. But maybe you did take him to dinner and the movies before screwing him :D

Which one sided trade would that be? The Mo Pete deal? He gets a better SF than he currently has and I get 2 backups caliber players (one has my sons name the other won't be on my team after this season). Strickland was added in to make the salaries match correctly. If anything i was trying to get screwed I want my team to suck this season.

Well Drew it isn't exactly like that. I tell them if they don't like something I can't really help them and if it makes 'em feel better they can go home and cry. But the decisions I make are to make the team better not make them feel good.

Castor wanted Kemp so I gave him Kemp. Mo Pete is crap, but I wanted him for his defense which is the only thing he can pretty much do. If I was screwed, it is too late now. Anyway...you can hold up my picks...I have no control over it...my team is 8-15...so I understand.
