When was this commercial shot? I don't remember seeing this one. Hakeem looks good... man I miss that guy.
It says for demo only across the screen...not for broadcast...so I assume it never aired because I never saw it either. Is it just me or does the kid in the red shirt remind anyone else of Haley Joel Osmont ?
When I first saw it I was like, "Man he looks good" -- but then it dawned on me (just as you said)... he always looks good. Cool to see him in that commercial ... great player, great human being.
Yeah,he looks great. I've seen this ad before. I don't know when it was shot, but it was done some years ago.
No. Getting paid millions of dollars for being the leader of a team on the brink of elimination in the eastern conference finals....THAT would get me motivated. If it takes a phone call from ANYONE to light a fire under his ass in that situation, he'll never be anything in this league.
I remember when he might have struggled making a commercial like that, but those days are long past and he does look good. The Dream could still warm up and give us 15 minutes any time he wanted to, in my opinion. 15 quality minutes. (maybe you could start a site?? )
http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/features/rumors summer plans Dwight Howard has said more than once that he would play for Team USA at the world championships in Turkey, but he announced Monday that he might not. "I haven't decided what I'm going to do," he told the Orlando Sentinel. He said a decision will be made "soon." Howard said he'll spend the summer working on his mental approach to the game. "I target it every offseason," Howard said. "It's all mental. That's why I said that my biggest area of growth would be mentally. I think that's the area that I have to just really focus on this summer -- just being mentally tough -- because I can get out here in practice and there's nobody out there and make 200 free throws and then get in the game and not do the same thing. So, it's all mental. Once I get over that, that mental block, then I think I'll be a lot better." He'll also work out with former NBA player Hakeem Olajuwon. "In the next couple of weeks, we will see each other," he said. "I just can't wait to go up there. He's a great guy. He had a lot of great things to say. I'm just looking forward to having the chance to work with him."
Olajuwon...man...to be back winning championships or contending year in and year out. My summers haven't been the same basketball wise since 1997.
What does that tell you about Ewing's coaching? Obviously Dream is the foremost big man in the game (recent past and present)...
I want to see the work out videos. I don't know if Howard can be 90s Dream, but he should try to be 80s Dream. more of a power game. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/zMrcBdXU9Nw&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/zMrcBdXU9Nw&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
