This is why they actually remind me of the recent Pistons championship team. I'd say this group of 4 is as talented as that starting 5. And you can argue the combo of Perkins and Big Baby is enough to make up for Big Ben. The truth is Boston just got healthy in time for the playoffs. Everyone was shuffling in and out of lineup. And IMHO Pierce has fallen off a little. He's still a good player, don't get me wrong. But he hasn't been anything out of the ordinary these playoffs. If someone has to take a tough shot, I'd rather see the other 3 do it before him.
Had they beaten a 60 win team in the first round, I might think they resembled the Rockets. Also, had any of their players made an all-NBA team, I might think that.
It is very similar. Rockets in 1995 beat a 60 win, 59 win, 62 win and 57 win team which was the top 4 records in the league. Boston this year thus far beat a 61 win team, and a 59 win team. And if they beat LA it would be 57 win team, which would mean the top 3 records in the league.
how in the world they are similar. Rondo all around PG, he can score, rebound, and get other people involved. Robinson is all about scoring. Brooks one of the best scoring PG in the NBA and can score on anyone. Lowry is a defensive PG his Job is to stop opponents PGs. so tell how are they similar..?
