No. He might sleep with Yao's mom and ruin our team chemistry.

I always thought Shaq was quite respectful when it came to Yao. I mean, sure, he said those racist comments (that were probably a joke), but every time I've heard him talk about Yao on the court, he's had nothing but nice things to say about him for the past 6 or 7 years.

Personally, I would have no problem at all with the Rockets picking up Shaq. I think he would be great for the team (on defense) until Yao is healthy enough to step on the court. Then he turns into a pretty solid backup plan.

I would like Shaq as a backup and think he is definitely worth $4 to $5 million--even Gortat makes that. Maybe Shaq could teach Yao how to get the refs to stop calling ticky tack fouls on him. Honestly, I think he goes to LA or DAL before Houston tho.

I'd say yes if he gets no more than 2 million.

Gortat is a better player than Shaq. Shaq really did nothing for the Cavs in the playoffs. The refs are going to call ticky tack fouls on Yao regardless of whatever Shaq tries to teach him. Its just an unwritten and unspoken rule of the League--call fouls on Yao. He's gotta live with it and deal with it.

eh, it might work. It's not like the rockets would need him for his offense. They just need a 7 footer who can fill the lane on defense and rebound decently.

So how does RA's motion offense work when there is no motion?

Horrible report...they're talking about Houston as if they're strangers to making the playoffs. Shaq isn't going to be what decides if we make the playoffs in 2011 or not, health will be, just like it was this past season.

My god, articles from the site should not be posted.

We should at least make an effort to maintain some credibility. This guy isn't even qualified enough to get coffee for Jerome Solomon.

I could have written a better article than this. And I could get coffee for Jerome Solomon, although I would probably spit in it.

If we are able to sign Cousins, then yes because Shaq would be a great mentor for him.

I remember when he got traded from the Lakers because he screamed at Jerry Buss "Are you going to pay me now". I don't see Shaq playing for the minimum and why would Yao need a mentor at this stage.
