Cone on guys. Ron is horrible. He remainds me of Rafer Alston. They both like bricks.

As for the shot, it was big, no questions about it. But was it really because of Ron?

I felt like Suns just gave up. They saw Kobe's shot had no chance of going in so they tought it was all over. Ron was just all alone, the ball landed in his hands. He just had to make a layup.

Looking back at the replay, it's not as easy a layup as you guys put it out to be. Plus Ron was a great player on the Rockets last year, sure he tosses up bricks but he brought so much more to the table, and may I remind you that he was a part of the group of players that brought us out of the 1st round.

that was more than a layup. you wouldn't be able to make the shot he did.

with the clock winding down is it really luck? He had a soft stroke there. Luck was involved but you have to make sure your hands do not fail you

While I'm one of the people glad Artest is gone, and while I despise the Lakers more than anyone, and while it was gut-wrenching to see them win on a critical game on a buzzer-beater like that, I'm happy that Ron was the guy who made it. He's an alum of the Rockets, so I'll be happy when he succeeds.

Damn. I hate Ron right now.

I still think Phoenix has a better chance than most teams down 3-2. They have to feel confident right now in that they are going home and that they know they can beat LA in LA.

Having said that, Artest is going to be huge should the Lakers win this series and go on to face the C's in the Finals. Ariza would get his ass handed to him by a healthy Paul Pierce. Artest has the size, strength to give Pierce all kinds of problems.

I'm not. I'm glad he's gone and I don't care if our team with him on roster got to the 2nd round, last time I checked they don't put up banners for 2nd round exits.

Answer me this. Have you ever had to question hustle or passion when it came to ron? Granted yea he doesn't have the most IQ and does tend to make some head scratching plays, but with whatever God given talent he has, hasn't he used it to the max for winning purposes unlike a certain former Rocket?

Both of them are flawed as players, and as leaders.....I don't want either of them on the Rockets.

Glad they are BOTH GONE !

Perhaps I knew he was an idiot before he came to the Rockets, and never wanted him here:

As evidenced by this thread pre acquisition

He is just a bad egg, a guy that will ulitimately sabotage most teams...

He may win this year, but it is not because of him, it is in spite of him.....

Ron helped give the Rockets the best season in many, many years. We didn't go out like b****es like we did to Utah and Dallas years prior.

    Go Ron.

As a defensive stopper, Ron was torched by Brandon Roy, then torched by Kobe - mix in his bad shot selections, one can argue that the Rockets won INSPITE Artest, not because of... in the playoffs.
