That putback was similar to the one in the Thunder series. I think this is one of Zen's genius plays. Let Kobe take the potential game-winner and have the whole defense rotate towards him, then lets someone putback the miss. ;)

Artest does also make some dumb plays.
    But
    Artest plays Hard.
    Artest does the little things.

This is why I appreciated him last year.
    He may make mistakes but
    1. He doesn't seem to get down on himself
    2. He continues to play hard
    3. I felt alot of that was rubbing off on the other Rockets Last year.

Battier and Artest was a great combo for us.

NOO!! RON!! HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO US?

I thought you went to the Lakers so that you can f*** them over in the playoffs.

Remember the elbow from Kobe last year? How can you face Shane again?

Yeah, some memories are more painful than others. I also must say I'm from Indianapolis and will never forget that he basically torpedoed that franchise with the "Brawl at the Palace".

Lakers have best chances to rebound when Kobe's the guy bricking. Because he does attract 2, 3 defenders looking at him every time.

    This.

Lets face it guys. Ron Artest, literally did all he could for us. Too bad it didnt work out with us, but, in retrospect, im happy for Artest because he has a legitimate chance of getting a ring with LA. I mean, no one can deny that he is one of the great players in the game. It's just too bad that the whole brawl happened because it just gave him that "crazy" reputation that, I think, he's had to battle ever since.

At the end of the day, you cant take away the fact that he plays hard, and is a damn good defender. Plus, you gotta love his personality. QUEENSBRIDGE!! lol

Now, having said that...F**K LA! PHX will take it in 7!

Just thought I would check out what you was talking about
    Just as think I remember
    1. Ben Wallace overreacted
    2. The Fan throwing the cup at Artest was out of line
    3. Piston fan when way overboard all around
    3. Stephen Jackson and Jermaine O'neal did far more than Artest.

Artest had a part in this. . . but to make it out like he did the most of it
    was ridiculous.

I always though his part in it was overblown.

The only person I like in the Lakers' organization is Rudy T. The rest can kiss my Canadian bacon.

Just be happy for the guy. He go the rebound and saved the day, doing what he wanted, backing up Kobe. He did a good thing for Houston last year, we should be thankful for the much.

Detroit doesn't deserve a professional sports team. What an enormous group of losers.

I don't know. Some fans don't appreciate Rockets players that work hard.

that putback might be the worst possible thing that could happen to the fakers......watch hero-ron attempt to assume a more prominent role in the offense now and take it upon himself to secure the title in the coming game(s) ;)
