Great news - I really hope Yao will have a few productive years left, it would be such a waste of talent for this great guy if he didn't.
Why are they allowing him to run hurdles? It seems he might injur himself again if he trips. By the way. I think the Rockets might be conservative about their statements partly because they don't want anyone in China getting ideas about Yao playing for Team China in FIBA World Champs.

The Ming Dynasty begins! Not really. I'm still not sold on him being able to make it through a whole season but I really do think when he plays he will be as good as ever (once the rust comes off his game).
I'm glad he's trying to condition his footwork. He did mention one of his goals is to strengthen his legs. I'm hoping to see a good 25-30 min out of him at the beginning of the season but most likely that won't be the case. Regardless, I hope that with these training, we'll see a more mobile Yao.
