Should the Rockets also gauge Jackson?

CH, you can do better. Start a "Why I root for Phil Jackson" thread or something like that.

They just need to tweak a bit - Jackson, Adelman, it doesn't matter.

The pieces are there to win 48 games, it's just about getting them simultaneously together.

Have you ever started a thread that wasn't directly related to another?

    YES!

Adelman has run all of our hi-kwality athletes out of town like Tracy Mcgrady, Steve Francis, Von Wafer, etc etc. Jackson is a proven coach for handling superstar players.

There's no way Phil would come here unless we got Bosh.

But if he did come here, then would it be worth losing Adelman? NO. Phil would only stay for a year or two, and we can have Adelman for several years. I'll take Rick.

I don't want PJ and his Zen principles in HOU.

He is undoubtedly one of the best coaches in the game but we already
have a great coach in Rick.

Do you really want him to start handing out books to Scola, Lowry, etc?
Do you really want to hear him complaining to the press about certain players being running backs (Steve Nash carrying the ball)?

Plus, I seriously doubt he would leave LA.

He had hip replacement surgery which makes it difficult to travel, which is why he skipped some away games and almost didnt come back this last year. Notice the special chair he has to sit in during the games and how it is up so much higher than the rest. He has said time and time that its the traveling that will keep him from coaching.

Is this thread for real? Why would we want Phil? It doesn't matter anyways, because he'll either retire next year, or stay with the Lakers for another year or two! Adelman's system is already set in the Rockets, too! You cannot change that.

Phil Jackson has stated that the Triangle Offense requires at least 2 years to learn. To put the Rockets through a re-education process would seriously set us back, since our players already semi-learned the high IQ Princeton Offense. We can't be in a constant mode of rebuilding.

I had to read your post very slowly. The "ah" instead of "a" threw me off.
