good deal. just read the fine print for the restaurant you're purchasing from.

 

They have this deal going almost all the time.

 

so have you guys used it. what was your experience with it. was it hassle free?

My girlfriend gets these every so often and the times we've used them (maybe 3-4 times) it has been hassle free. We just threw it in there with our check and cash/credit card for the difference.

I have used these coupons about 10 times. No problems whatsoever.

 

At worst, we had to add a desert/appetizer to get to $35. Enough though the coupon said dine in, we once got the desert to go, without any problems.

You have to add a gift certificate to your cart and then you will go the page where you can type in the promo and get the discount.

 

do not expect it to cover drinks.

 

I only ran into one problem, which was that we went to a place called Fish City, and they had some tiny sign on the door that said they don't accept Restaurant.com on weekends. other than that, no problems.

 

You are correct. I read the stipulations before I bought. $35 for a nice dinner for two without drinks is not that hard to reach.
