http://bbs.clutchfans.com/showthread.php?t=186963 The Bulls are gauging Phil Jackson's interest. Should Rockets do so, too? Adelaman is good but has no rings. Jackson has many rings and is a true superstar coach. He'll cost money but doesn't count against teh salary cap and he'll draw superstar player for sure.
i think the timing of it would be horrible. Just when we are about to give Aldeman a chance to really prove himself... we yank him? Also, our team isnt really built for Jackson's style.
there has to be a reason for Phil Jackson to come here (aka an elite superstar who's healthy). Also, this team finally being molded for Rick's style. Unless LeBron comes here, I doubt Phil would.
I like Adelman and hope he's here for several years. Jackson is a dude I like to make fun of for going to teams that have a superstar (typically the player considered by some to be the best in the game), along with some of the pieces he needs to win championships, instead of building a championsip team. If Jackson goes to Chicago (which I don't expect to happen), it'll be because James is there.
Jackson will go to where ever Lebron is going... Without an elite star, he will just retire and call it a career...
I here u guys but Jackson with Morey would be great...we would diff have the intrest of ah superstar that u obviously need 2 win ah championship.( along with breaking down the LA team) I do like rick but cmon if we ever had ah chance it would be ah good deal..
Jackson is a Buddist. Have Yao show up on Phils door at July 1 with a statue and maybe Martin,Brooks,Bosh and a few incense rods and 13,000,000$. Then Lebron will have no choice but to turn down Bulls and sign and trade for Brooks,Martin.
I understand its the offseason and everything but wow... not even a chance. Phil will probably retire after this season, and I seriously doubt he cares too much about the money Jerry Buss is going to cut from his salary. If he wants to coach, he will coach in the place that he has won two straight championships. He is old and has serious health problems. I give it a 5% chance of him going to Chicago to coach a would be Lebron and IF LA loses in the finals or the Suns make a comback and win the series which will not happen. And the chance of him coming to Houston is less that none. Did I mention he has serious health problems???
It's all right to spell an entire word here. Seriously. No one will give you a hard time if you write using something approximating complete sentences and proper grammar.
I'm still trying to figure out this whole shtick that Carl Herrera has going. I don't get it and it's not really funny. Then again, I've never been a fan of and kind of satire, I guess.
Serious health problems??? Do you have any information for that? I just think he is old enough (some health problems) to walk away with some many rings. As for the rockets, we already got a very good one, why do you want to overpay Jackson or whoever who may not do better job than our current one?
