It's too bad Dallas didn't make it to the WCF, I'd love for Najera to take a shot at Fisher. Garbage taking out garbage.

I'll hold you to that. Awful prediction.

This is the conference finals...The Suns aren't just going to give it away in Game 4.

im really happy for phoenix, but they needed amare and lopez to go complete destruction mode to do it. dont know if those two, especially lopez can duplicate that performance again

Maybe the Lakers said "we'll give you guys a game because you know we can sweep you if we want to. We get an extra home game and you guys get a token win for your fans."

No, not really, but it almost looked like it after the way the Lakers pwned them in just about every single game this season.

Without Nash setting him up, a lot of those made shots tonight will become charges or forced ones.

Great game for PHX, the zone worked after all.. Odom could never get going, same with Artest. Kobe, Fisher, and Gasol were the only real scoring threats... the bench didn't show up. I fully expect the Lakers to make open shots though.. they aren't going to let a zone defense beat them.

Someone really needs to layout fisher, his act is played out like sager's closet.

Is Bynum hurt? If so that makes a huge difference (for next series). Amare was able to get to the basket tonight.

Suns can take any team when they shoot 20+ more FT.

Well, I think the key here is that it was because of the defense they played. The zone basically "forced" the Lakers to take a lot of jumpers. More jumpers = fewer fouls.

Generally, I'd say this gameplan is a good 1 game philosophy, but can't work for a series.

But it's hard to imagine Gentry changing it up. And it does actually seem like with the way the Suns defend, playing zone the rest of the way may be their best shot.

We all know how one call can change an entire game.

Everyone favored the Lakers to win tonight except the bookies. For some reason they had the Suns in the -. Mind the 17 vs 10 turnovers as well. The Lakers won in every single category such as shooting percentages (except FT shooting).

And for some reason the Suns get every single whistle tonight....you're only as good as the officiating unless you are the 94/95 Rockets.

With that, Lakers over Celtics in 7.
