Dude, not smart to piggyback on a thread that is increasingly looking like it may not last the weekend. Im not totally familiar with xbox stuff, so not only am I not sure what the fix was supposed to be, but I also have never heard of the ixtreme....a little explanation would be nice so I can determine if this thread is as bad as it looks.
Ixtreme 1.6 allows the 360 to play back-up games. Since the box has been flashed with Ixtreme 1.6, it is not under warranty, and can't be repaired at Microsoft. When an Xbox 360 E74s, It is pretty much a goner. There are some cheap fixes that you can do, but the problems always come back in a little time. The cheapest fix known to man is called the penny trick, it involves glue and pennies.... This is what I found inside the box a couple days after he sent it to me. The guy will not respond in detail to how he is going to fix the issue, and he has refused to give me my money back. I will get the money back one way or another, but the OP could really have some serious **** on his hands when I decide to take this much, much further. Honestly, If he doesn't respond with a resolute fix by Monday, you can lock this thread, and I would hope for a permanent tag on the guy, so no one ever buys anything from him again. Good thing I have his address, too...
As I stated in the other thread I didn't know the penny fix was done to repair your system since a friend was suppose to put a heatsink on that GPU to begin with. That's my fault for sending it to you without double checking it myself. I am willing to give you the $100 you asked for since I see no permanent fix for the issue that I know how to do myself.
Your honor, I didn't know Armed robbery was against the law. DC, you knew what you were selling.....give him his money back. DD
Damn just read this guy has scammed 2 guys that is just shallow. Hey knote if you still want an xbox mine works fine. I will give it to you in a week no cost. I will just keep my hard drive. I have 2 xbox one here, one in Lubbock. Ill give you all the cords and a controller.
This is TOO hilarious. You keep admitting it was YOUR fault! You knew it was broke. PERIOD. It broke and you gave it to a friend to fix and you thought it was fine so you sold it. Either that or you knew it would work for a little bit before crashing so you decided to get rid of the POS and screw someone over. All that crap should have been stated but the buyer is also at fault for not asking more questions or possibly doing a buy in person (if possible)
It was sold as is in working condition. No one ever asked if I had made any repairs to it. From now on Knote we communicate through email cause I don't have time to waste reading people's opinions.
Weaksauce, you used Clutchfans to sell the danged thing, knew it was broken and then scammed the dude, just take it back, and give him his money back it is the only honorable thing to do..... DD
lol why do i keep hearing that your xbox is done for if u get the red ring? Theres a repair method called reflow i got mine repaired like that 6 months ago and hasnt failed me again since.
I hope you give him all the money that you've stolen from him. Knote, don't just take $100 back. You need to get all your money back.
