Rockets players are all about heart and playing as hard as they can every single night. It's our team's culture. How many other teams have you played that show this amount determinations we possess. We thrive no matter what is the circumstances and do not make excuse even lose our key players to injury.

We understand you are highly competitive player who accept nothing less than success for yourself and all Rockets players from top to bottom of the roster will work and play as hard as you. Every single player will run with you on the fast break, they will play determined defense with you every single possession, and even when things get rough during the season or playoff they will push themselves harder to overcome the obstacle.

By coming to our team, you will be playing along side with players such one of the best center in NBA like Yao Ming, a highly efficient and deadly shooter like Kevin Martin, and the most improved player Aaron Brooks who burns any defender with his speed. We also have other young guys who eager to contribute to our winning team. These are the guys who will be pursuing championship with you and with you on the Rockets, the championship is just within reach.

In Houston you will take your place in the pantheon of big men that is the Rockets history:

    Elvin Hayes
    Moses Malone
    Ralph Sampson
    Hakeem Olajuwon
    Yao Ming
    Dikembe Mutombo
    Chris Bosh

Never underestimate the heart of a champion that continues beating in this city and franchise.

    Dear Chris,

Why NOT Houston? You said even before that you wanted to be the alpha dog on a team and thats exactly what you would be in Houston.

Look at the other teams you put on your list:

Lakers? Good Luck with Kobe and Gasol there, you would be the third option and you have a guy just as skilled as you are playing the same position. I dont think the Lakers will give up Gasol, a guy who has helped the Lakers go to two straight finals and what looks to be a third.

Chicago: You would share the stage with Derrick Rose who is one of the league budding superstars. Derrick is also a local kid so the fans will always support him first, there is a reason why he wears #1 in chicago.

Knicks: You would be the man in NY if LeBron doesnt go there, but who else is left for you to play with? They have like 4-5 guys under contract, one of them is Eddy Curry. Being an alpha dog really wont matter if you have a bunch of mediocre players on your team. And if LeBron or Wade does go there they'll be the one marketed not you.

Heat: If Wade stays you're second fiddle AGAIN, if he goes you have the same situation as it is in NY with no one around you to support your skills.

Raptors: I mean there is a reason why you are willing to leave right?

You're 26 Chris this next contract is going to span over what most people consider the prime of a player's career. You will get the max money wherever you go thats not the issue here. Look at the other stars from your heralded rookie class:

Melo: Western Conference Finals appearance, multiple playoff appearances
LeBron: Finals appearance and best record in the NBA last two years
    Wade: Finals MVP,

Everyone one of them has had success in the post season something that you haven't had the chance yet to do. Sure you can try to go on a team and coattail to success, but face it Chris you are FAR TOO GOOD to be just a passenger on the journey you have to be the one leading.

Thats where Houston comes in so so perfectly Chris.

You would be the man here, yes you can say there is Yao, but lets face it the big guy is a great player but he is coming off of surgery and he may not be the same MVP-type player he was a few seasons ago. He'll still be a top 3 center in the NBA though no doubt.

But you come in town and no doubt who the man would be. Heck even Yao would step aside for you to lead he is that good of a teammate. And look at who else you would have surrounding you: Kevin Martin, Aaron Brooks, Luis Scola, Trevor Ariza, Kyle Lowry, Chase Budinger.

Think about that Chris you would be the final piece needed to take this team to the top. You think on any of those other teams you would have a chance at being Finals MVP? Realistically only the Lakers have a chance to make it to the finals even with you on the team next season and Kobe is gonna be the one calling the shots then.

You were the forgotten star in Toronto Chris, anywhere else you would still be the Robin to someone else's Batman, anywhere but Houston.

You can be responsible for creating a new powerhouse in the NBA, the question is do you want to be? I think you do.

    Sincerely
    The_Yoyo

    - Houston has a great tradition of big men - Elvin Hayes, Moses Malone, Ralph Sampson, Hakeem Olajuwon, Dikembe Mutombo, Yao Ming - your name would sound great next to these legends' names
    - Houston has said all along that you are the one we want, not Lebron
    - As you know, there is no state income tax in Texas
    - You mentioned at times that you did not feel that everyone on your team in Toronto was giving it their all. Rest assured, this is all our team is about - even when it seemed like we were overmatched by the opponent's talent at times, we would not stop fighting.
    - The best thing? If you were to join the Rockets and Yao comes back healthy, being overmatched by the opponent's talent would be the least of our worries - you have everything: Unmatched speed in the backcourt (Brooks and Martin), height (Yao and you), defensive aces (Battier, Ariza), grit and heart (Scola as one example, but really the whole team)
    - If you are concerned that there could be issues as the Rockets already look strong at the PF/C position with Yao and Scola: There are 96 minutes to be played at these two positions. Yao will likely not play more than 28. If Scola plays 30, that will leave 38 minutes for you.
    - Houston is a classy organization with probably the best GM in the NBA and an owner that is willing to do what it takes to bring a championship to the city.

If you are about winning, come to Houston.

i am really sad but i did my best to fight against majorty memebers on this board.

if there were any chance, it would be yao. asking fans here to convince bosh to believe yao? if they don't believe, how can they convince someone else?

they broadcast no confidence at all on yao to the world so asking them is DELUSIVE.

You can have a big shoe endorsement in China. Everyone has one. You will probably have the highest selling jersey.

It's more gratifying to take down the Kings (no, not Sactown) than to be one of Kobe's knight.

If people in this area is still living in a time when this team last won a few championships, this is the place for you. So 15 years from now, one of us here will post dozens and dozens of pictures of you sharing a drink with Matt Maloney and Bobby Sura.

You would be the best Yellow Jacket the Rockets have had since Jason Collier.

    Chris,

We are an up and coming team that has an advantage over the rest. Please take all points into consideration before making any decisions.

    1. Daryl Morey. Enough said.
    2. Young Stars. Aaron Brooks, Kevin Martin, Chase Budinger, Kyle Lowry, Jordan Hill.
    3. Experienced Veterans. Shane Battier, Trevor Ariza, Luis Scola.
    4. Yao. One of best centers in the league. Just think of how easy you will score when people have to worry about both of you.
    5. Les Alexander. You couldn't ask for a better owner.
    6. No state income tax.
    7. History. We have been there. We're hungry for more.

    8. China (see number 4). This quite possibly might be the best business decision you can ever make. If you think beyond basketball. Think Chris Bosh the GLOBAL brand. Imagine getting the exposure of 1 Billion more people all with a simple signature. Jersey Sales, Shoe sales, endorsements = Chris Bosh the global icon.

We have great leadership from top to bottom. We will continue to rise to the top. Houston has been built on the foundations of great big men. You can be the next. Come back home to the Lone Star state.

    Chris,

If what you want is to have a real shot at an NBA title, look no further than the Houston Rockets. 42-40 last year without Yao, whom has been working like a madman to come back stronger than ever. AB and Lowry who'll make your life on the court easier, Scola who will leave it all out on the court everynight, Kevin Martin who can score with anyone needing very little touches. The Rockets are as deep as any team in the league, with unselfish players that only want to win, a coaching staff that puts it's players in the best position possible to win not only everynight, but to win deep in the playoffs. You can go play with Lebron, Wade Or maybe in New York, why, because that may be the sexy thing to do, but why go somewhere and play with one of those guys and have a depleted roster, because their GM isn't as capable of putting together a complete team such as the Rockets own Daryl Morey can. Look at this thing as serious as the Rockets are, come home to Houston where you belong and soon you'll see why they call this city CLUTCH. Championships await you

    We don't want Lebron

    We don't want Wade

    We don't want Amare

    We don't want Dirk

You are our guy, not our "plan B"

Come be the centerpiece of the best run franchise in the NBA.

What part of "Bosh wanting to go where LeBron goes" don't you understand? That snippet from the article in itself speaks volumes about how much Bosh DON'T want to be "the centerpiece".

Let him fulfill his destiny of being the prototypical Second Banana. The man has earned that much.

    Chris,

    Why not Houston?

Why not come to a team that WANTS to have you on their team and that has publicly made it known that we are going to pursuit you. We have one of the best GM's in the league, who has made a name for himself on going after any player he desires. We know what it takes to win championships here in Houston, our owner Leslie Alexander is a great man and has let it known that he is willing to go OVER the salary cap as long as it means we are going to win a ring again.

Oh did I mention, you have the likes of Hall of Famers such as Hakeem Olajuwon who will be willing to sit down and talk with you or work with you on the court on aspects to help improve you as a player. We also have the support of Clyde Drexler, a Houston great who know's a thing or two about winning.

Last but not least you have Fan support, we as fans would love to have you and will have the support of your home state every night you are out there on the court. Just think of the possibilities of a team that is willing to do anything it takes to win and get back to our rightful place in the NBA Finals.

    Why not Houston Chris?

Sooooo you're saying that this "source" is wrong that Bosh wants to play with James? Because that wish list that was submitted sure has a lot of teams that has an alpha dog player on them already.

The source could be his agent or it could be a friend of a friend of a friend of Bosh.
