Dude, he has to stay healthy and produce on the court first this year.

He's coming off a huge surgery and there's really no telling what will happen.

 

Don't understand why people think not running your mouth in front of a microphone equals not being a leader.

Nobody is going to listen to his "leadership" if he is not on the court. Also, no one is going to listen if he plays like a wimp and klutz.

I don't think he can mention other team's players until free agency starts. I believe it's against league rules.

 

I know, 33.6 minutes a game is way too unreasonable for someone making max money.

Cuban and Kerr just got fined for violating tampering rules by talking about other team's free agents.

Don't the tampering rules apply to Yao or is it only applicable to the front office and coaches?

 

I am sure Yao will call the right players at the right time. Cuban just got slammed for 100k and even stever kerr got nailed for 10k for joking about free agency, so I am sure that has to factor into why yao hasnt reached out to anyone. But I do remember that last year he talked to ariza if I'm not mistaken. Just give it some time.
