I don't really follow the blazers, but i was just wondering why doesn't jerryd bayless get more PT. I mean he is really talented, and everytime they give him significant time, he seems to perform pretty well. The blazers should just trade him if they are not gonna develop him, waste of talent.

If Prich goes after another point guard in the draft I think Bayless is done in Portland.

Now that Blake has been Traded you will see Bayless get more PT. The only way Bayless makes the starting line up is if he can develop a better chemistry with Roy.

I suggested a reunion of him and Chase but instead got a reunion of Chase and Jordan.

I really like his game, he brings athleticism and is able to penetrate the lane with his quickness. Unfortunately Pritchard will probably not deal him because he is so valuable like Rudy Fernandez, who's going back to Europe, and will rot on the bench because he and Roy play with the ball in their hands.

He is really not a smart player

    He doesnt create for others

    Cannot shoot well

Got his dunked stuffed by a 37 yr old

Court vision just isnt there, he seems too out of control mentally on the floor in his decision making which usually ends up with him jacking up a contested shot

Really the Blazers should've traded the guy for something worthwhile a long time ago

    Are they really?

Bayless stepped in and dropped 30 points on the Spurs when Roy was out. He is a player just doesn't get enough time under McMillan cause he and Roy play basically the same style. Give him some PT and he's easily one of the best up and coming combo guards, with athleticism added.

I like and always have liked Brooks but I think he would be an upgrade over Lowry.

Though the Blazer's are young, they don't have an up-and-down style of offense. Its more methodical and slowdown with Nate McMillan. Jerryd Bayless and Rudy Fernandez would both do better in a more open court style of play. Maybe they'd be good players on bad teams.
