They got the old menus back. The Ribbons were the dumbest idea ever.

You're just scared of more work if everyone upgrades to 2010 :p

Seriously. I just started up a new (to me) machine at work with Windoze 7. I'm so glad I was able to locate my Office 2003 disc.

I loved Office 2007 and I like 2010 even more. The interface is smooth and a lot more intuitive once you get used to it. I couldn't imagine going back to 2003 *shudder*.

What is the ribbon exactly? I have been using 2010 since it was first available and it has been an absolutely great experience. PowerPoint really has it together. Its the little things with the 2010 suite. Stay the hell away from Outlook though.

There's a free converter on Microsoft's website to allow you to open .docx files on 2003.

I haven't had a chance to try out 2010 yet. I currently have been using 2007 since it came out, and I have to say IMO it is superior to 2003.

What don't you like about Outlook 2010? It's my favorite of the new products. The calendar preview in meeting requests alone makes it pretty awesome for me.

Can an Office 2010 expert here offer the benefits of 2010 vs 2003 and 2007? I'd like to know what compelling features will make people ditch a GUI that they've been used to for almost 8 years.
