Bynum never suffered an injury as severe as what Yao and Oden went through. I think he'll be OK.

    1) Don't hate on Hayes.
    2) Yao is doing well with his rehab.
    3) The Sixers have Iguadola and Young; they are set at the SF position. They MIGHT not draft the best talent available and regret it later.

After Scola and Yao, there is only 15-18 minutes left for Hill (who is trade bait), Hayes, Andersen, and Jeffries all of whom they intend on using as backups.

Morey and Pritchard are blowing smoke screens by saying they want to move up to the 4th pick. By making it look like they want the 4th pick (not Turner, but a PF), they hope Philly will end up not drafting Turner. NJ may trade the third pick to the highest bidder between them.

The new Nets owner is incompetent and will probably force the GM to trade the pick for say Budinger since he wants to appeal to every market (white people), picks, and Hill.

There is still the possibility of the Wizards drafting Turner at #1, but I really hope they don't.

He's a taller Roy with better handles, and his jumper is not as good. He could improve.

The big free agents (Bosh, LeBron, Wade...Johnson) will not end up in Houston. Get over it. Yao and Martin are the star players of this team.

Bynum has never played more than 22 minutes in a season without missing several games, if not several months due to injury.

Yall need to come to terms that to get something good, we have to give up something good. Yes, that means a possibility of losing Brooks, Martin, Ariza, Hill, Bud, ect.

It's crazy to expect Yao and Scola to average 40 minutes each(16 min for bench players), especially with Yao coming back from surgery. If you believe that's happening, then good for you.

oden has be out because of injury for more about half his career. Marcus Camby is old AND a free agent. If they get Favors or Cousins they wont need Camby because Oden will be back plus they'll have a solid player in the center if Oden is to face any other injury. They know Oden is extremely injury prone.

I think it would be smart to get one of these guys in the draft

I also think it would freaking incredible if we could get the 3rd or 4th pick. We have to face the facts. Yao is most likely not going to be there at the start of the season. When he does come back, it's gonna take him a long time to get back to 100% which he probably wont. The prime of his career is over because of his injuries.

Yao and Oden are very similar which puts both the blazers and the rockets in a similar position. We both need a solid center for next season just in case there is more injury.

Best of luck to both teams and both of those players.

Besides im sure DM will pull something fantastic off even with the 14th pick... Look at c-Bud

Bynum can't play over 22 minutes without missing several games. Look at his games played and minutes played for each season.

Blazers have a bevy of unsigned first rounders from recent drafts. Rights they could package with an unhappy Fernandez?

Unsigned 1R picks: Koponen, Freeland (declined Blazer's contract offer this season), and Claver (signed a contract extension a month or so ago).

"Derrick Favors" or "Demarcus Cousins", you can't go wrong with either

But if I had to pick between the two, I would lean toward Favors, just because he reminds me of Dwight Howard, except that Favors is developing a jump shot and has much better touch around the basket!

Camby is not a free agent. Portland offered him an contract extension and Camby took it. If they didn't believe in Camby, they would have let him go into free agency.

How is Bynum not injury-prone, when he averages 50 games for the last 3 season. It must be the same guys that said Yao and T-Mac's injuries were freak injuries and won't happen again.

I said Scola would average 40 and Yao, 38. I put high numbers because you guys are obsessed with getting another big man to back up.

    Yao / Hayes

    Scola, not bosh / Hayes

    Turner / Battier

    Martin / Ariza

    Brooks / Lowry

    9 man rotation.

Well Favors really isn't small, the guy measured around 6'10, not to mention his still 18 yrs old (still growing) so he might measure the full 6'11 like Cousins...

You want to bet on Yao averaging 38 minutes a game in 2010-11? :)

    I know he's not.

    You want accuracy?

    Yao 35 mpg - $18 million
    Scola 37 mpg - $8.5 million
    Hayes 19 mpg - $2.34 million
    Andersen/Jeffries 5mpg - $9.5 million

Wall and Turner are going 1 and 2. The only way I could see the 76ers trading the pick is if someone's willing to take on Elton Brand's contract. And even that maybe a stretch.

They would trade for the #3 pick, future NY picks, and Taylor. They do not want another SF.
