DAMN! I like the show....a lot. Been watching EVERY V and Flash Forward episodes. The last episode of Flash Forward was REALLY good IMO.
This blows....the show has gotten progressively better. Oddly enough, most of the shows I watch: 24, Lost, Flashforward...wont be back next season. I think the only network shows I will be watching are Fringe and Modern Family. Oh well, more quality time for me, I guess.
The continuing story, multi-season, finite ending series is the best format for TV. Lost, 24, Damages, Fast Forward are like the mini-series in the 70's. Roots still might be the best all time TV.
I just finished watching the first ten episodes on DVD, I kind of liked it. It is not on Lost's level but that is probably impossible to obtain. Advice: Should I just wait for the second half to come out on DVD or should I started watching it from Hulu?
I would watch it on Hulu so the details remain fresh in your mind. I rewatched the first 10 episodes right before the show came back from its hiatus and it definitely helped me pick up on some details and connections that I would have otherwise forgotten.
Damn after reading a few posts to find out the show is canceled that sucks. I have been following "V" but the first 10 episodes of Flash Forward have been better than "V's" first 10. I believe ABC screwed themselves on this one by letting Flash Forward go they aired at the wrong time at the wrong day. I would have had it before Lost to have something build it up which is why "V" IMO will go on for a second season. I have not watched an episode of Flash Forward live but believe it is aired on Wednesdays. Hopefully they change their minds or HBO can start airing it.
i just started watching last seasons...is it even worth finishing the series? SO far i've enjoyed it but i was more interested in seeing this thing played out until the end.
I think Flash Forward is really good. Watched a couple of V's, but they've been absolutely horrible. That said, I'm glad Flash Forward will be canceled - I like it, but also think too many shows drag on for too long. This will make it a great great one season show.
Truly sucks that Flash Forward is being let go. I would say the first half half of the season (before the break) was terrible and I knew for sure it was going to be canceled. But once they returned from break, the show got really interesting and acting picked up, especially by Fiennes who was just terrible in the beginning. Damn, too bad we won't be able to see this show through to 2016
Will we likely not be getting any closure with this series? It's been very enjoyable since Noh didn't die and we find out about Janis' status. They wasted too much camera time on that Gabriel guy though.
Same here. I enjoyed the first couple of episodes. Then it just started to drag. But after the hiatus, it has simply been awesome. I think the show's good for at least 2-3 years. So it does kind of suck they're axing it so quickly. Overally, mainly annoyed that there just aren't many watchable dramas these days. Shows I generally like tend to axed real quickly.
Flash Forward and that NBC show "Kings" both need to be picked up by another network...it is a damn shame to see otherwise quality shows axed before they really hit their strides.
Agreed - they've introduced a bunch of concepts that should keep the show going for at least a few seasons...I'm really hoping that another network picks it up, but it's doubtful.
No disrespect but . .. it irratates me that ScyFy will keep shows like EUREKA and Warehouse 13 but won't spend a lil coin to get some of these quality shows [OH BUT THEY WILL PLAY THE RERUNS] Rocket River
Personally, I am so sick of crime dramas dominating all of the drama genre on network tv. Flashforward was something different and new, but they are just gonna replace it with some law and order or ncis or csi or the same old crap. All that **** is the same and its all boring.
No disrespect taken from my end...but I was curious, did I mention the Scyfy channel somewhere in my posts to make you mention it? Anyways, I think some network definitely needs to pick this series up for at least another season or 2 (assuming it continues on pace with what it's doing in the last couple episodes).
