Guarantee the remainder of the deal. Seems fair for both sides.

The NFL's salary structure is just ridiculous.

Best yet, trade him to the Titans for a 2nd round pick.

    I can dream.

Does seem rather unfair, doesn't it? Imagine if a team came up to a player and said, "I know your contract says you get $5 million this year, but you stunk up the stadium last year, so we want to pay you $2.5 million." Absurd! But when a player says, "I know my contract says I get $5 million this year, but I played really well last year, so I want you to pay me $10 million", it's okay?

As someone stated earlier in this thread. Teams will just cut that player and pay him nothing. If for some crazy scenario AJ suddenly has a steep decline, the texans can just cut him loose and owe him nothing on that remainder 5 years.

Did you even pass 7th grade?

I'm astounded by your constant lack of argumentative skills.

You've proved yourself time and again to be nothing but a troll

I don't argue. I have things to do.

I'm astounded someone even hired you. You constantly banter people 24/7 on-line, maybe because you were picked on as a little kid you feel the need to fight on-line cause it doesn't require physical conntact.

Get a hobby or an on-line gf. You proved yourself time and time again as a loser.

    Sorry 'bout it!

This is strange - I hadn't heard any rumbles from Johnson about his salary. Maybe I just missed it - was it a story in Houston ?

Ad Hominem Attack is one of the fatal argumentative fallacies, if you could understand words with more than 8 letters (conntact? lolz), you might be able to comprehend this.

Since you're a Cowgirls honk and an obvious troll with little NFL knowledge, perhaps I can break it down in layman's terms.

"If'n ya cant figgur out haw to argue wit dem rascally edu-macated people on the innernets, an you jus rezort to callin' em names and whatnot, you've already done lost' the argument."

Now get out of my sight before I crush you with my green boxes.

Um, you don't even know the difference between a coincidence and irony. I'd figure an on-line geek like you would know.

Crush me with your green boxes??? ha! Only an internet loser would say that. Are you trying to impress your on-line GF?

    Happens all the time.
They simply cut the player and resign them at a lower price
If they cut the player. . they don't have to pay thing

In Fact . .ownership does it far more than players do

Just because I'm bored today and it's raining like b**** down here in Miami.

By the end of next season....

    Vincent Jackson = Andre Johnson

Hahaha, that was a good one.

I was all prepared with some neat stats on why the suggestion could be possible for both to be equal next seasons end but.. I'm satisfied with that.

    You win.

    Flawless victory!

Worst comeback in the history of the internet?

    I think so.
