I'm not saying the Magic will win the series, but to declare it over now is silly. You'd have to make the Celts a clear favorite though.

If the Celts win game 2, this series is over unless some fluke event occurs. In fact, if the Celts win game 2, I'll be calling the Magic a bunch of nasty names just like everyone else.

I can't remember the last time Rondo missed a contested high degree of difficulty lay-up.

Watching this makes me wonder if Cleveland really choked so much as Boston is really this good. Remember, they were the undisputed best team in the NBA when they were healthy the last three years (up until about Christmas this year). You look at them on paper and they really have no weaknesses. I know it's one game, but...

I would love to watch celtics-suns finals, best offensive team vs. best defensive team. :)

How Tom Thibodeaux does not get a head coaching job, I'll never know.

This game shows how good Dwight Howard and the Magic plays under good defense. They were cruising through the first two rounds, and now there's a challenge for them.

    Celtics in 5!

dwight howard should get tasered every time he takes a shot with his left hand. you suck bad enough with your right hand, how about not taking about 5 ****ing shots today with your left hand!! or at least learn a ****ing scoop shot. almost nobody shoots overhand with their offhand after a pumpfake, except apparently the guy with the least touch in the nba. he has davis completely faked out and does an up and under and instead of laying it in underhand, he shoots this sidearm overhand lefty shot that misses the rim. hell, just shoot with your right hand in that situation, big baby isn't going to block it. even shaq figured out how to spin baseline and still shoot that little shotput shot with his right hand. going lefty is no bueno.

I'm not going to judge the series by game 1 either... but I'm saying... this defense by the Celtics is really bothering the Magic. Yes, the Magic have missed open looks that they would normally knock down, but they also have not played a defense as good as the Celtics yet. I just can't buy that rusty business because they were off for a week against Atlanta, and they were rolling on all cylinders then.

I won't judge the series until about game 3, but the Celtics just look like they're back to their old form from 2008, especially on the defensive end. I'll have to agree with you on the home court thing also, I think both teams can win on each others floor.

In the 90's Dwight would be about the 8th best center in the league.
