Nelson is coming alive. Now it's Dwight's turn to stop being a walking zombie on offense.

I seriously don't care right now and need to watch more games before deciding who would be stronger in the Finals.

But if you consider what a huge jerk KG is, maybe I'd pull for the Magic if the Lakers had been eliminated and the winner here would be favored in the Finals.

Barnes with the look on his face after that turnover like he owed the mob some money.

they have to get rid of calling this a shooting foul. you can't just go to the line because you didn't dribble again. you should have to actually be in some sort of shooting motion or at least gathering yourself for a shot when contact occurs. you can't just take a bump and throw it in the direction of the basket for free throws. every person dribbling on a pick and roll who gets bumped by the other defender could just start flinging it up and getting free throws. at the very least, like jvg says, they have to call it consistently. because there was no difference in what pierce did and what people do at halfcourt (like jvg mentioned) and yet sometimes it's nothing and sometimes it's free throws.

what a shock, orlando pulls close so the celtics turn the offense up a notch, start making some shots, orlando starts committing turnovers and missing free throws, and then that ridiculous 3 ft foul opens the floodgates and orlando panicked because at the end of the day, boston is a mentally tough team and orlando is mentally soft. not sure how orlando plans to win this series.

KG's a jerk, but Orlando has Carter, whom I think is worse. So I'm rooting for Boston.

Magic's 2 best players on offense, talent wise, Carter and Lewis, are also their softest.

Not good when you are going against a physical defense of the Celtics.

Oh, no doubt KG is a huge douchebag, but he pales in comparison to Kobe & Phil, so it's really a lesser of two evils. Given a Faker elimination, I think Phoenix/Orlando would be a great "FU" to the league and would also be a fantastic, fun series (I'd root for Phoenix since Nash deserves a ring as much as anyone).

Perkins exposing Dwight Howard's limited offensive game and JVG questioning his growth on offense.

Howard doesn't deserve to be called the no.1 center.

Of course he does. This is just one game. The guy is a monster.

one game? His offense has never reached the level of the 'no.1 center'.

Howard is just getting dismantled by the Celtics defense.

At least we can take comfort in JVG's subtle hints that Yao is nigh-automatic with his jumpshots.

Wicked pulling the chair by Rasheed. Made Howard look foolish.

care to revise that series outlook yet? orlando isn't just going to lose game 1, they're going to get mentally destroyed. they now firmly know superman doesn't have his cape and they're letting their offensive struggles destroy their defense, watching boston just pick them apart for layups and open 3's. boston is now firmly in their head and it's going to be an uphill struggle in every game from now on.

Carter is the only magic player who can score under the celtics' defense.

    Again, magic needs 3s.

Judging from this performance, I think that the Celtics could win. However, it's too soon from my perspective to see if the Magic will get completely destroyed this series - I'd need to see how they respond in Game 2. Too soon to draw immediate conclusions yet.
