LeBron is a bigger upgrade over Ariza than Wade is over Martin and Bosh is over Scola. Plus LeBron is the best player of the bunch and reigning MVP.
Great topic for discussion. This is something you can find scholars nationwide debating. It's deep in terms of content, interesting in terms of possibilities, and just downright fun. No matter our views, we're just glad the OP gave us a lot of food for thought.
wade can win with a great supporting cast so if he was available I'd take him EVERY time over anybody in the game except Kobe Wade is the most clutch player we have in this game besides Kobe, when the game is close u can just sit back, relax and kno for sure that Wade will pull out the game I luv Bosh but u cant say that about him and u DAM sure cant say that about Lebrick.. Wade wins u a championship, Lebron gets u close and lets u down give me Wade all day
I don't want Lebron on the Rockets. He will destroy this organization as he is about to do with the Cavs. The Cavs did everything he wanted to keep him happy, and now they are going to be left with a big mess. I don't want any player that feels is bigger than the team.
Michael Jordan, Hakeem, and Magic Johnson We are now officially set to win the next 7 championships. Screw LeBron, Wade, and Bosh.
This post reminded me of Hakeem's allegations about the trade Portland supposedly offered. That's always crazy to think of. For those that don't know, in Living the Dream Hakeem claims that in 1984 Portland offered Clyde Drexler and the #2 pick in the draft (picks #2-5 that year were Sam Bowie, Michael Jordan, Sam Perkins and Charles Barkley) in exchange for either Olajuwon or Ralph Sampson. So, if that's true and if the Rockets had played their cards right, they could have had Olajuwon and Jordan as rookies and Drexler as a sophomore. If my math is right, that would have meant approximately 478 NBA championships. Sorry for the derail, I thought it might be something more interesting than the thread topic. Anyway, IBTL.
Wade, I'd hate to do it to Kevin Martin as he is starting to grow on me. But Wade makes the most sense, can play defense, can play like a PG and more importantly has already been proven a more capable leader then Bosh or James, via the way he has handled his team in victory and defeat. No question, it is the only sign and trade I'd be in support of really because he is a legit commodity and won't come with the baggage of being "King" or over hyped playing on scrubby teams. Although real talk, I doubt any of them want to try battling it out all season in the western conference.
