Whoever that guy is, let it be known that a little bird told me he doesn't know how to play under pressure.
Nice on the sorted +/- with who's high on the list. This also shows Nowitzki is more clutch than he's given credit for. You know where this is gonna go - "Dont gimme dem REGULAR season GEEK BOY stats" Its the rings. The riiiiiiings, baby. The rings which I'll never own, never touch, never see, but will honor and protect with my LIFE. The rings which give ME Frodo powers to cut YOU DOWN.
you just don't get it durvasa. lebron's 50/12/6 (that doesn't even seem real) crunch time stats make all of his teammates feel inadequate, causing them to beat themselves up mentally and eventually turn into crappy players right around early to mid may, thus ensuring cleveland's demise. if only the king would become less efficient, score less, rebound less, pass less, and play less defense when the game is on the line, then he could become a kobe-like closer and winner. seriously, 50/12/6 per 36 minutes? i realize this is just the subset of the 15 highest scorers, but the leads he has in 4 of the categories are enormous and he's tied for 3rd in assists.
I bet you'd get the exact same chart if you plotted +/- versus "How softly can I breathe on you and get a foul whistled on me for it?" If the answer is: EXTREMELY softly, then you might be a crunchtime NBA player!
Look I dont care what that chart says THE ONLY WAY TO BE CLUTCH IS TO SHOOT TURN AROUND JUMPERS FROM 15 FT AT THE END OF THE GAME!!!!! lol Lebron is greatness and if you cant enjoy the way he plays the game then i question if you like basketball.
Thiiisss blows my mind. Lebron is soooo deadly, that is incredible. I'd love to see Jordan's numbers in crunch time contrasted with these.
LeBron was so clutch that he had willed the team to multi-championships. MVP is won in regular season, It's all about regular season baby.
