    Lets see...

For the worst team in the NBA, Kris Humphries averaged a FG% of .433 with a PPG of 8.1.

For the Heat, having to deal with Dwayne Wade's touches, Jermaine O'neal averaged a FG% of .529 with a PPG of 13.6

Yes, I can see how Kris Humphries is superior.

Avg rebounder? Ok. Pathetic defender? Ok again. If you read what i wrote, i said haing him because he can slide over and play center also. Pre injury, non of that wouldve been true. If he has the same type of yr like he did coming off his injury, then i will agree with you.

    All wrong!

    Brad Miller is the guy.

He knows RA's system, brings toughness and can shoot the j consistently.

I'd like Jermaine O Neal as well. Hes one of the more realistic choices because of him being a free agent and his age. Perfect backup for the 4\5 spots and can play with either Yao or Scola. Hes a good rebounder, shotblocker and has a decent outside shot.

    I wish, man, I wish.

Deke was awesome for this team. Highly dependable.

You win, in all my years, i never seen a backup center come in and make an impact with the little minutes he had. You just knew with Mutombo in, our defense just gotten tougher.

Al Jefferson an "average rebounder" ??

    06-07 BOS 11 RPG
    07-08 MIN 11.1 RPG
    08-09 MIN 11 RPG
    09-10MIN 9.3 RPG

Looks like he is a strong rebounder .

Short of Camby of Kaman, I'd say we draft a backup center. The guys out there that are actually good aren't likely to move and the ones that are, have quirks like being undersized, health issues (Al Jefferson while compared to Hakeem in playing style has probably missed more games then Yao) or suspect productivity (both Shaq and Jermaine O'Neal).

My money if I were Les or Morey would be finding the best big man available to me in the draft and that could start at the beginning of the season.

I'm not very excited at the idea of getting Shaq, but for a reasonable contract, I think he's still serviceable....keeping in mind that he would be here as a backup.

There aren't too many teams with "true big men" (size + strength + skill), and I think some of our tall/lanky players could fill in nicely against team without those true big men.
