Eh, just Phil being Phil... the smart players in the NBA don't let it get to 'em, likely won't be a problem for Nash...

It's not the players. It's the refs. He's working the refs. Everybody should know this by now.

Another reason to hate the Lakers.

    GO SUNS!!!

I'm not a fan of phil's tactics, but it works sometimes....i just don't get why he'd pick on something every players does, even his own. Nash may get called for a carry or two now, but so will a Laker..

I think he's hoping it gets to the refs more than it does directly to Nash.

Why does he constantly get away with what the refs do in favor of some other team?

Doesnt this crap ever get tired? Goodness I hope someone makes LA go down in flames.. they're huge front runners

There's something highly ironic about LA even mentioning 'preferential treatment'.

If I were a listening official I'd call a bunch of carries on Kobe just to drive him to a nice fine.

This whole "mind game" of Phil Jackon's is getting old. He does this at the beginning of every series. He either does it to the refs, the NBA, some owner, or player.

If the Lakers ever run into the Celtics in the Championships, I bet money Phil will make some kind of remark about Garnett.

    News Headline:

"Phil Jackson thinks Kevin Garnett is a punk, has-been, and needs to shut up and focus on his game."

If I were Alvin Gentry, I'll say to media: "Phil Jackson is afraid of Steve Nash."

Are you kidding me? It's Phil Jackson. It's the Lakers. There will be no fine.

This goes on a lot in European soccer when managers of a big team is about to square off against another. I have no problem with this comment. The other coach can easily fire back with another criticism. I'm sure there are tons of beef on Kobe, Bynum, Gasol, and Artits.

Now what's ridiculous is when idiot owners like Cuban send in TAPES to the league complaining about Yao's moving screens. Glad he'll never win a title and probably will die a title virgin.

I have absolutely no problem with this comment. I very much dislike Kevin. It would be better if PJ sandwich calls out Pierce and Rondo as well.

If I was Gentry, I would attack the most vulnerable player on their team. Artest.

He can just say something casually like "We're not worried about Artest at all..." and hope his ego starts tell him to launch those threes. Utah wanted Artest to that SO BADLY but he did well not taking the bait....time to use some words Gentry...someone just provoke the guy.
