It's not about whether he can coach one end of the floor or not, it's he can't adapt or make any decisions during game time.

Owner says they are evaluating the process.

    Translation.

We have already made up our minds to fire Brown, and don't want to make it seem like an off the cuff decision to end this guy's career.

We're still gonna can him though.

Even Brown knew it was coming, why would a coach not foul or call a timeout during the final minutes of an elimination game. He gave up because he knew it was his swan song.

Now Dan Gilbert has to have Lebron give Coach Brown his exit interview and pink slip and ask him who he wants for his next coach. JVG would love to have that job.

This is a sad day, truly.

I also don't think JVG will sign for the Cavs until he's sure LerBon has inked his name there as well.

Pat Riley too. Apparently winning Championships is the only way to break the curse.

Forgot to mention Gregg Popovich. He's survived the curse too.

Brown's lucky, who wants to coach a cavs team without Lebron anyways? Your scoring options are Williams/Jamison? Wizards remix.

the rumor mill is getting going early this offseason.

how can Cleveland decide on their coach without kowtowing to LBJ first?

well they haven't fired anyone yet.

Maybe you missed it.. He yelled for the guys to foul and they ignored him

Matter of fact, Mo Williams waived his teammates to stand down when Mike Brown was saying foul... Mo said no, dont foul

It was the craziest thing i've ever seen

if lebron stays, they need to find a coach who is known for offense.

lebron is the best offensive player in the league and he's being completely wasted in a misguided system.

Rumor mill indeed starting a little early today. That being said, Brown should be gone and if they want to keep Lebron - a competent coach will definitely help.

    Coach of The Year indeed....

    well deserved...

as for the man of honor himself, what has he to say about this "unexpected" sequence of events...?
