Major league city's you would dread being a fan of.

Salt Lake City. It would embarass me to no end to know that there's only one team in town, and it's a dirty, flopping team who never will win a championship.

I would say Nashville for similar reasons, but I don't know anything about the Predators.

 

I think people in other cities probably say Houston.

 

Aside from the ones already mentioned, I'd add Minnesota. It's cold as hell up there and the T-pups have never really done anything cept for that one year KG and Spree went crazy.

Honorable mention: Milawaukee.

I don't even know where that is on a map.

 

Most of them are Packer fans, so they've had their share of success.

The twins and vikings are both pretty good.

I would nominate Chicago. I know the white sox won, but the cubs suck, the bulls suck,and the bears suck.

All their sports teams, win or lose, all draw a crowd. You know those fans really love their team.

real salt lake won the mls cup last year. but other than that, the jazz suck!

 

DC. Except for the Caps, they suck. Plus DC is a fitlhy poor city.

 

Twins won 2 world series not all that long ago.

 

If you count Real Salt Lake, then Dynamo won MLS cups a few years back too. All of our franchises here are respectably competitive, save the Astros...

 

How about Kansas City. The Royals are perpetual bottom feeders which is really disappointing to me because I was a big fan of theirs in the 80s when they had George Brett, Bo Jackson, and Brett Saberhagen. The Chiefs have been pretty mediocre for the last 12 years and have sucked for the last 3.

How long is considered "long"? I tend not think of it as long because I was alive and remember watching those Series, but they won their titles 23 and 19 years ago. It's not like they're the Cubs, but it's not like it was 5 years ago either.

 

Heck what do you mean "people in other cities"?

I'm from Houston, and fully understand that I am a masochist to be a Houston & Aggie sports fan, because it seems that by default all my teams are destined to show promise & build up hope only to shatter them later on.

None of the major sports teams have been anything to write home about in the past 15 years since the Blue Jays won back in 93.

 

Um.....pretty sure Salt Lake City isn't a major league city.
