    My questions is

If Lebron doesnt win a championship in these next 2-3 years ... goin into his 10th year in the NBA.

How great is this so-called "KING JAMES" ?

when comparin' him to even the top 8 players of ALLTIME.

our grandkids will know who "JORDAN" is not Kobe.

    Jordan = Michael Jackson-Beatles-Elvis-Tupac-Bruce Lee

    Kobe = NSync-Backstreet Boys-Lil Wayne-Kanye West-Jackie Chan

well, if he wins this year AND next year, I think he deserves to be equally and fairly compared to Micheal, before that, there is not even comparison.

    Uh, actually, Luckyazn....

....I meant that last post of mine as a compliment to you because I felt like you were dead right about comparing Kobe Bryant to Michael Jordan.....

...but it's okay. I don't do sarcasm very well on this forum.....

....something must be wrong with my ISP.....

    W.T.F ?

Jackie Chan is nooooooooooooooo where in Bruce Lee level !

"Legends" vs "Known for the Moment"

    Jordan > Kobe

    Bruce Lee > Jackie Chan

    Tupac > 50 Cent

    Beatles > Backstreet Boys

    Michael Jackson > Lil Wayne

    Elvis > JT

No it is not even that close. Bryant has only one ring as the main guy on his team. He needs at least 6 rings as the main guy on his team to be compared to Jordan. And we did not even mention Wilt, Magic, bird, Russel, abdul jabbar etc. Kobe is not even top 10, and if he doesn't win the next 3 titles I do not see him in the top 10. There really is no way you can logcally say Kobe is the best ever.

Like people have said he is not even the best player of his generation (That would be either Duncan or Shaq (depending if you count shaq in the same generation as kobe).

Visiting these threads are kinda like those sore wounds that you know you shouldn't scratch but for some reason you have to.

I don't know what people you are talking about. But Kobe was officially voted as the best player of last decade.

If he won another ring, there won't be any debate.

No, that would be Shaq. Where are you getting your info from? Since when was Kobe voted as the player of the decade?

The TNT PotD FAN VOTE reaction

I wont question the Kobe pick too much. Tim Duncan 2nd team is a complete joke (they considered Duncan a center, which put him behind Shaq). Why not move Garnett to 2nd team in place of Duncan.

Lebron got too much love on the fan vote

Wait, this was voted by fans?

I never saw that segment at the all-star game... but Shaq should've clearly won it IMO. I'm with you in not questioning the Kobe pick because it wasn't a horrible pick, but if it was the Media/Coaches, Shaq would've definitely won it.

    hmm.

    kobe's achievements so far

2nd highest scoring game of all time
    11 all star selections
8 all nba first team (jordan 10)
    3 time all star mvp
most 3 pointers in a game
scored 40+ points in 9 consecutive games
avaraged 43.1 points in a month (only other player to do that, wilt)
scored 50+ points in 10 games in a season (only wilt has done that)
he's outscored a team after 3 quarters by himself (62-61)
8 all nba defensive first team ( jordan had 9)

remember kobe's career isnt even close to being over.
i mean the man is playing with injuries throughout the whole season. and last year. you dont see that stopping him. night after he broke his finger he dropped 40.

this doesnt count but he should have 3 mvps. we all know he got robbed by nash both of those years.

And come on guys. if wilt was in the nba right now he wouldnt even average 25ppg. he was a 7ft guy in a league full of 6 footers.

and if kobe played in the 80's and 90's he would have dominated as well, he would have been way to quick for the players, kobe is an athletic freak whether you like to admit it.

so no one will remember the man who scored 81 in a game, who outscored a team after 3 quarters, who they call the black mamba, the deadliest player in the clutch? who averaged 43 ppg in month? im sure no one will remember him.

Because Jordan never got swept by a team like the Suns and what adversity are you talking about? Do you mean being a rookie with Shaq? That's some real adversity there.
