I thought he was gonna leave for sure, but after watching the Cleveland series...I realized how messed up it would be for him to leave, considering all the moves they made to make him happy. Hope he stays cause his legacy would be ruined if he continued to lose in NY.

    John wall (drafted )/Brooks
    Ariza/ Taylor
    Lebron (MLE)/
    Bosh (s&T)/Hill
    Yao/Andersen

This lineup worries me. we might have to need 3 balls.

I think Cleveland's premature demise will have an immediate negative impact on the value of those NY picks, as it at least increases the probability that LeBron will be a Knick.

Lebron in the post game press conference said "me and my team" a lot, which leads me to think that if he we're to leave, it would be through a sign-n-trade(making sure he doesn't leave Cleveland empty handed), which would take NY out of the equation... given that they don't have the assets for a sign-n-trade(thanks to Morey)...

bosh or amare will consider ny if wade or lebron goes their. what can houston offer to cleveland that they would trade lebron to houston? i just dont c them trading him to houston they would have no interest in aaron brooks they have mo williams, jordan hill or scola the have jamison, if any big of the big five goes to ny the draft value goes down a lot. martin, hill, and 14 pick, new yorks picks and other picks for lebron

I agree. The rockets ability to move up in this draft using those NY picks just got alot harder. The rumors will be running rampant through out the off season. Worst case scenario would be LBJ convinces Bosh to sign in NY and then NY makes a trade for Tony Parker. No Bosh to Houston and NY picks lose their value.

Rumor has it the Bulls will go all out and trade for Lebron instead of an outright signing to preserve their capspace thus have money to get ANOTHER MAX guy.

Because I'm sure Cleveland is jumping for joy at the thought of acquiring Deng and Hinrich, whom are pretty much the only reasonably tradable assets Chicago has available.

While our chances to get Bosh would be worse if Lebron goes to NY, what worries me most is our future Draft Picks. The draft picks that we picked up will be worth much less if Lebron goes to NY

The Cavs are stuck, they need to move Lebron via S&T. Deng, Gibson and Johnson along with a couple 1st rd picks doesn't look so bad when considering losing James for NOTHING.

The likeliness of Bosh coming here is the likeliness I'll shave my bushy eyebrows for can of soda.

No, but then you realize that the Cavs are now in rebuild mode when they get Lebron...and taking on Deng's long contract is not a good idea I don't see how that is doing a favor for Cleveland.

I think it hilarious that you "hate speculation" but then immediately start your entire thread on the "Speculation" that Mr James is headed to NY.

This has been gone over in thread after thread.

First...James has a better team in Cleveland where he can make all the money he wants

Second...NY would still not have anything for a team even with James and one other max-pay player, in case you hadn't noticed just cause they get paid the max doesn't necessarily mean they are worth the max, and having one of the best players(James) combined with a guy who gets paid max but isnt able to carry a team(like most of the other max level players) isn't gonna help him win there if they cant afford to bring in more good players.

as an addendum, please note that as a global icon that Lebron James already is, it is extremely unlikely for his endorsements to raise from being in NY over Cleveland and I have yet to see zero proof that one of his current endorsements will pay more for being on the Knicks.

They have done a good job surrounding him with good players, I honestly don't see why he leaves Cleveland....all he needs to do is learn how to use all that talent to help his team win when other teams or injuries take him out of the game, and I could see him putting together a a title or two.

    Great to see you back!

I don't see him in NY,however I don't think Mo Williams,Jamison,Shaq,Delonte,Z as good defenders. Jamison was also disappointing offensively against the Celtics. Lebron may want to go to a better team. I would like to see him get better and win a championship in Cleveland.

Why be Lebron's sidekick when you can be "the man" in Houston and make more money? And it's not like he can't find endorsement here either. Local endorsements as the face of the franchise + Chinese market should at least offset any endorsement potential in NY as a 2nd banana.

The only problems Lebron going to NY would pose us are the trade values of those picks.
