yes i am saying that he didnt play with a sense of urgency tonight. he let the celtics dictate what sort of shots he would get. thats what good defenses do of course, but lebron is the best player in the nba he has to take what he wants and put pressure on the defenses. thats something he does 98% of the time when he plays, he didnt do that tonight, he doesnt hit those jumpers in the 4th this game would have been a blowout and those were "good" shots because they went in but they were not his strengths. He let the celtics dictate when/where/how he would score that happens but you cannot let it happen in an elimination game. His body language in the second half was different from his phenominal game three.

Could he have played better? the box score would indicate he couldn't have, but some TOs could have been cut down and his could have tried to attack more in the half court (to his credit he did attack in the open court).

I am not saying he cant make a bad pass but for a guy who I hold having one of the highest basketball IQs in the game made a pass that was just baffling in probably in the most crucial sequence of the game. You can just tell right after that terrible pass the whole team just quit it was as if they were shocked he turned the ball over in the fashion he did and didnt bother trying to foul or play and defense from there on out. As I said the pass he made there was no angle, no way that pass would have ever gotten through he would have been better off just shooting a jumper from that angle (still a bad shot but at least its a shot) than passing the ball. Or just stopped and kicked it back out my jaw was just dropped when he made that pass. I guess I would be less critical if a guy like pierce made that pass because he isnt much of a passer but I hold lebron to be a top 5 passer in the league (behind nash, paul, williams and kidd) and I would be just as shocked if any of those 4 guards made that same play.

I dont full blame the LOSS on lebron though. Mo Williams finally has a good game in the series, still doesnt excuse his piss poor play int he playoffs so far. Jamison was a complete dud tonight. Complete dud no way he should have not scored at least double digits. Brown is just too stupid to put in Hickson who played so well in the regular season and hasnt played at all since Jamison came into town. Jamison was a total negative on the court with his poor defense and bad offense. Hickson could have at least played with a lot more energy.

Poor coaching, poor supporting cast ultimately was the reason for the cavs' loss in the series but that does not excuse the lack of urgency from their leader in the biggest game of the season

I don't know what game you were watching. I think he tried to do too much. Jamison was horrible the entire series and the celts showed the championship pedigree. In 7 games, the best team always win and the celts were the best team.

Everybody knows the post season is different. You're right, Mo Williams and Jamison are not ****ty at all, they just don't fit, so it makes them look much worst than they are. That's organization's fault for not trading for/signing players that fit into their system properly, not Lebron's fault.

Hell, why not just walk off the court right at that point then. It was under double digit, I know a free throw contest towards the end of the game is the most tedious thing in the world, but not asking too much to show you give a damn.

The better team won. Lebron isn't "King" yet by any means.

This has probably been said but too lazy to read through previous posts- that is the first time I have ever seen a team just give up like that. AND IT WAS IN AN ELIMINATION GAME!

Over 1 minute left, 9 point game AND THEY DON'T FOUL. Celtics miss, over 40 seconds left, 9 pt game, Mo Williams casually strolls up the floor and Anderson Varaejao launches a 3 near the end of the shotclock? Had LeBron stepped up and drained a 3, it is a 6 point game.

Nobody on that team was thinking foul? Coach is not yelling foul? They just gave up.

If this were the Rockets that did that (God forbid), I would probably give up on the team. If the team gives up like that, why should I root for them? It was zero heart, zero leadership, just epic fail. AT LEAST TRY. THESE GUYS ARE EARNING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS AND THEY DON'T EVEN GIVE AN HONEST EFFORT. I FEEL BAD FOR CAVS FANS, THEY GOT RIPPED OFF.

I don't think he is coming back...might go to the Nets.

    Harris
    Lee or Williams
    Lebron
    Bosh
    Lopez

I would leave if I was guaranteed that line-up.

    Kobe has:

    1. a BROKEN finger
    2. a screwed up hip
    3. a screwed up ankle

No amount of practice can take that pain away. He just keeps playing, practicing, and making do with what he has. LeBron all of a sudden shut it down like the season ended in game 4. And yes, he did not play like it was an elimination game. He played sloppy basketball and should rightfully be crucified in Cleveland for being a pompous, egotistical, overbearing asshat who can't get it done when it matters most.

By the way, LeBron's record in elimination games is 2-5. It's 0-4 on the road. These aren't numbers that a self proclaimed king should be getting.

I could care less about either team, I am calm. I just cannot believe wtf I just saw. I have lost any bit of respect I ever had for LeBron James.
