I wear a watch. Always have.

But not the kind that would impress anyone. Basic Timex. It works for me. (I've never been a jewelry kind of guy).

Its so rare for a watch to catch my eye. Of all the ones posted only 1 intrigued me and then only slightly.

No, it's a thread about pictures of watches we have in response to a question.

like i cant believe ppl wear shoes, clothes, own cars, etc. for reasons other than basic functionality. yeah, that's the whole point. we aren't as kool n realz as you. try going into a job interview with no watch or a cheap one. i guarantee that will be points off.

@rhada: that's true about tourbillons. i just like the aesthetics. anyway, all watches will only reach a certain point of accuracy after which it becomes more about ur preference in style.

I find most Pateks to be understated and classic. They are watches that rich people wear when they don't feel the need to flash around that they are rich.

I agree, and for me, that is the difference to a Rolex and why I would prefer a Patek. But even though Jaeger Le Coultre is a "lesser" brand compared to Patek, I really like them best. IWC and some others also have some nice watches.

You want to talk about big penis. My watch exemplifies it.

Just got it back from being refinished. Looks brand new and runs like a champ!

Any suggestions for a thin watch with date and accurate seconds hand?

(I took this photo on a kitchen stool. The watch was on the stool. Not me.)
