Not that there is wrong with being either type. Just wanna know where would you put yourself. On a scale of 1-10. Ten being totally blind and one being completely objective. Me, I would put myself at about 9. I hate anyone and everything that is not associated with the Rockets. I hate the Kings, Spurs, Lakers, Jazz, Blazers, Suns, Magic, Celtics, 76ers, etc. Call me a hater, but if any teams beats us a couple of times in a row I hate em with all my might! I cant stand it when someone praises another team (*cough The Cat cough cough*). I cant stand it when someon says Finley or Ray Allen is better then Mobley. To me, the Rockets are God! Eat Rocket, Drink Rocket, Live Rocket, Bleed Rocket and Die Rocket! I am pumped up after having watched the entire Spurs and Rockets series from 95!
I am a 6...slightly less than objective because sometimes I find it hard to understand why we are not in the western conference finals every year, but still grounded when reality sinks in......I will always view the Rockets as the contender, but have learned to lower my expectations at times.......
I'm probably a 9 or 10. If you are not a Rocket, I don't like you. (only exceptions I've made have been Bullard and Hakeem.) I consider the Rocket players to be the best. I do use stats, although I am "blind."But I'm also not stupid. I consider Shaq to be just a litttle better than our Creampuff man, Jason Collier. Just by a bit.
Probably a 6 or 7, because I will always be a rocket fan and never like another team but I am still rational enough to recognize when a player on another team is good.
i've never been a fan of lying to myself, and i think it's a tad lame to like a team just b/c you happen to live there, so put me down as a one . . . lol
5, but it's kind of hard to answer this because I will not follow any other team and will support this one to the ends of the Earth. I can admit it when we suck though, and I can see when we are headed in the right direction as well. Even if we do suck that doesn't mean that this won't be my team. But overall a 5 because I know when we've been beat but will hope for the miracles if that's the case.
1 or 2. I love the Rockets...but I ain't afraid to criticize. And I'm pessmistic like hell too. Do I think they'll make the playoffs next year?? No. Did I think they had a chance in 94 or 95? Not really. But u can sure bet that I was happy as hell when I had to eat my words. Do I think MJ woulda beaten the Rocks if he hadn't have retired? Probably, even though we'll never know for sure. Do I think Seattle could have beaten us in the 94 playoffs if not for Mount Mutombo? 90% Yes.

I'd like to think I can be objective about the Rockets...but nope, can't do it. It's amazing how the attitude changes when a player puts on a Rocket uniform. Ex: Charles Barkley. Couldn't stand the guy. Nothing made me happier when we shut him up in the Western Conf. finals. Put him in a Rocket uni, and I'm his #1 fan. Broke my heart the way his career ended. The only other NBA team I EVER rooted for was the '83 Sixers and guess who played for them? Moses Malone (my all time favorite Rocket) Give me a 9...
