    Tom Thibadou....Doc Rivers and Mike Brown are the most overrated coaches ever, Mike Brown is the control group that proves that Phil Jackson is only slightly lucky he's had Michael and Kobe

    Doc Rivers=1 ring

    neither

    Browns good at coachin D and SUCKS at coachin O..

    Rivers good at coachin O and SUCKS at coachin D

    Lebrick is the true coach of the Cavs and Thibideau along with the big 4 are the coaches of the C's.. theyre equally garbage by my estimation

    wat? how so? mike brown is a terrible coach. nobody argued that PJ was a terrible coach. it was that PJ is a great coach who was lucky to have coached the best players and teams. lest we forget lbj single-handedly dragged the cavs to ECF last year despite having Brown as a coach. insert a competent coach even JVG (for those who argue Mike Brown is a great defensive coach) and they win it all. altho thibadeaux was largely responsible for his teams having elite D.

    Rivers has? C'mon, the guy has three all stars, a top 10 center in Perkins, and a burgeoning superstar PG in Rondo. Even better he has an assistant making all the defensive adjustments. The guy's been spoonfed everything.

    They're equally incompetent IMO.

    Darko= 1 ring
    Bosh = 0 rings

    Do the math!

    Darko is CLEARLY the better player.

    but only Phil Jackson can coach a team with Shaq/kobe or with Jordan/Pippen/Rodman or Grant. Phil is not lucky at all :rolleyes:

    I dunno... Brown seems to be more of a taker, while Rivers is a giver.

    case in point:

    Don't leave out top 50 players when you try to pass off that argument. Coaching is a tough business, we heard the same things about SVG in the past and we'll hear the same things as soon as the Magic begin to underachieve. Doc Rivers was praised as underrated a couple years ago and JVG has just as many critics as supporters for his predictable and mechanical style.

    Flip Saunders and Mike D'Antoni were unanimous choices for top 10 coaches back in the day due to their offensive creativity and now everyone finds them overrated. Jerry Sloan always puts out competitors but is a bit too predictable when it comes to the playoffs. He's also too cranky. All these guys are borderline coaches who go with the ebb and flow of their players, it's all about sticking around for as long as possible. Red, Phil, Riley, Adelman have done that and historically, that's what works. On the flip side you have guys like Don Nelson and Lenny Wilkins who just suck even though they were around forever.

    They're both equally bad. Cleveland is nothing without LeBron and Boston finally got some good players the last few years (after the Pierce/Walker era).
