Why? Its not like hes an elite untouchable player, he failed just as bad as joe johnson in the playoffs so no thanx.
Well 2 things... 1) I said Orlando series not entire playoffs and if you take out the first six games of the Bucks series, I'd say his PER was probably below 12.5 without checking it out myself but anyway I meant Orlando series only and your comparison from last year was all the playoffs. 2) There was a reason I put marquee in quotation marks and used the words so-called. JJ IMO was never a star player, he was/is a dam good player but stars are made in the playoffs not regular season and using the numbers provided above I'd say he has failed at that.
We call Cbud the black JJ bc he is athletic and Joe Johnson, the white JJ, bc he is not. It is just a joke.
superstars are made in the playoffs. you can be a star in the reg. season. are you saying before last year alex rodriguez wasn't a star? joe johnson is an all-star (he's been in the all-star game). for him to suck like a scrub more often than not during the playoffs is such a sad sight to see.
I will disagree with you here, Superstars are made with outstanding/defining moments that will be remembered for quite some time. Stars are, IMO, made in the playoffs with consistent play. JJ making an all-star game is irrelevant in my book, Mo Williams made an all-star team and he certainly isn't a star. Really good players are made in the regular season, what has JJ done to be labeled a star? Is there a stretch of games or series that makes you think JJ=star? Edit - Baseball is a different animal because it is harder to make the playoffs and thus less opportunities to prove yourself during the post-season.
