I am reminded of a thread of some months ago "players you would never want to see in a Rocket's jersey". I don't want to see Bosh. There are some players - no matter how good they are - I don't like. I don't like Bosh.
Did this question really need its own thread? Couldn't it have gone in one of the other countless Bosh related threads? Even a quick read through any of those threads would have shown you that there are others who do not want Bosh.
in 1 simple word.. hell yea ur the only one who doesnt want Bosh! not 1 word but u kno wat i mean of course more ppl dont want Bosh but ur in the minority bud
No he isn't! I only want Bosh if the price protects our key players- AB Yao Martin Scola Ariza Buddinger & Hill.
I won't say I don't want Bosh, but I don't want to give up too much for him. He's an upgrade over Scola...but not so much that I want to sacrifice all of our assets. I'd be willing to give up a combination of thses players: Battier Ariza Jeffries Hayes (would really hate to see him go. dude has heart) Taylor Draft picks Players not for sale: Yao Scola Hill Martin Brooks Lowry Budinger Hill Now...if we get Bosh and keep both Hill and Scola...we are overstocked at the 4. I know some think that Bosh or even Hill could slide over to the 5 to share minutes with Yao, but I'm not sure any of these guys can really guard a another true bigman. So....there's no reason to keep all 3. I love Scola...very solid fundamental player. And I think Hill is going to get much better. Even if we traded Hill down the line, his value will double and we can get more for less. Conclusion, let Morey worry about it since he does this for a living.
I'm not with the majority here but I too don't want Bosh. I've seen him in Toronto for the past six years and he hasn't impressed me to the point that I am willing to break the bank for us to get him. He's got good skills, but for a guy dependent on athleticism his health problems don't bode well. He doesn't have the frame to put on more weight and I think without more bulk he'll keep sustaining these injuries in the future. His defense is weak, although to be fair he hasn't had the right coaches to make him a good defender, and even when he's had a decent supporting cast he couldn't take the Raptors out of the first round. I like what we have with Scola and Hill at the four, and I think Bosh demands the ball too much to be effective on a starting lineup with Martin, Yao and Brooks. He doesn't set great picks but he moves well without the ball. Scola can do that job at a fraction of the price. I believe any team with Chris Bosh as the leading scorer will not make it to the NBA Finals. You might say that he won't be the leading scorer if he were to come to the Rockets but many of you here seem ready to give him the keys and build around him.
It's not like what the majority wants has any bearing on what actually happens does it? Morey's not going to make a move because the majority of Rockets fans want it.
