Throwing back a foul ball! Classic... LOL

    http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=220816122

After Rolen fouled off the first pitch from Wolf, fans yelled at the fan who caught the ball to throw it back. Rolen then fouled an 0-2 pitch and a fan threw it back on the field, drawing loud cheers.

They are lucky that's all that was thrown. Remember they play in a stadium with a court in the basement. sheesh.

All class those Philly fans! I guess it beats getting batteries thrown at you like JD Drew, or getting bottles and other crap thrown at you after a playoff game like Reggie Miller and the Pacers were forced to go threw.

I was at a Phillies game when J.D. Drew was getting batteries thrown at him. To make it worse for Drew he took a wild swing and his bat flew in the stands and I think that it hit someone.

Booing Santa Clause is par for the course with Philly fans. Did you expect anything less from them for Scott Rolen? Even a good friend of mine born and raised in Philly admits the fans are rotten to the core...

How about booing Irwin while he is laying uncousious on the field? I know the guy is no saint, but come on! Philly fans suck and I am they have a losing whining b**** like Iverson. Pefect match IMO.

As great of a player that Iverson is i think sooner or later they will start booing him. I don't have a problem with booing because its all good and fun but booing Mike Irvin when he was motionless on the field was outta line. But I have to admit they show Francis and Mobley alot of love everytime they play in Philly. I remember Francis crossed the mess out of George Lynch and the Philly fans gave Steve a standing ovation.

Remember when Michael Irving got knocked out when he was playing the Eagles in Philly and the fans cheered?

Geez, another philadelphia fans suck thread. Not that I blame any of y'all for coming down on the fans here. Looking at the Phillies though I don't blame the fans for being ticked. I mean hell they lose Drew just because he doesn't want to play here. Then Rolen whines his way out as well. The owner makes no real effort to really try to be competitve. The one reason I always could watch and root for the Astros was at least Drayton was trying. Bringing in the Big Unit, Mike Williams, Pedro Astacio, Moises Alou. I mean each year we at least had hope. Up here though you pay attention for about the first month then it's like oh well when's the football preseason begin?

Yeah I know what you mean. The way Drew and Rolen turned their back on the Philles they should be booed. The only problem I had was when they cheered Irvin for being hurt. Other than that I think Philly has some great fans.
