    Weird indeed.

Adam_Schefter Brian Cushing took and passed a lie-detector test to prove he was not guilty of taking a PED. Yet his four-game suspension still stands.

    Am I in the minority?

I am far more angry that I think his suspension hinders our chance of success this season.

Then again, I all for picking up "bad character" guys (to a certain extent) that produce on the field.

    Anything for a W

What the heck is going on here...i really wish the nfl would freaking come out and say what was in his system. All this speculation just makes things worse.

Funny...you take an aspirin and you can get suspended (if he was in fact suspended for taking blood thinners).

EDIT: Blood thinners can be used as masking agents.

Depends if it was a blood or urine test. If it was a urine test then it will not mask anything.

If there is any sense of karmic justice in the free world... Brian Cushing will try to escape in a White Ford Bronco (driven by Jacoby Jones) in a chase that will take the cops from Sugar Land to Conroe... all this will be captured live on TV while the Lakers are playing in the NBA Finals.

Wouldnt it allow more blood to the muscles meaning you could go longer?

No, the only meds on the banned list are Anabolic Agents, Stimulants and masking agents. Some players get busted for stimulants when they take cold medicine and for masking agents when they take diuretics for weight loss.

If someone wants to dope blood for performance enhancing they usually try to increase the red blood cell count to increase the bloods ability to carry oxygen.

thin blood would allow for less blood cells.

less blood cells mean less oxygen.

less oxygen is not good. think about playing football drunk.
