Hey, can someone help me choose between these 5 RAM sets? I'll be getting 12gigs, so any that are 6 just assume I'll be getting 2. The only visable difference using this comparison is the Cas latency and Timing. Since OCZ plat. has the lowest timing and cas, would that be the best choice? Thanks. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...45-271^20-145-271-TS,20-227-381^20-227-381-TS

Do you plan on overclocking? If not, 1333MHz should be plenty. Depending on the application, the performance difference between ddr1333 and 1600 is usually small and unnoticeable. Though if the price difference is small, getting 1600MHz modules wouldn't hurt. Out of the ones you've listed, I would go for the $185 corsair. A shame that only 1 rebate per household though. If you're set on getting fast ram, Mushkin Enhanced 1600MHz is only $395 shipped after coupon code 'TWENTY'. Good price for 6-8-6-24 modules with cool heatspreaders. Though make sure the tall heatspreader won't interfere with your CPU heatsink.
