Really? How did he block Kevin Durant on the last possession of the play after guarding him for the whole possession and forcing him into a really tough shot?

Lebron is amazing defensively because he's athletically gifted. But he's still amazing.

    2-2 Lakers vs Thunder

    Kobe guards Westbrook

4-2... Lakers win the the series.

Watch the games instead of spewing senseless dribble in your posts.

He's almost always guarding the other team's worst offensive player, so that's not really so impressive.

I don't think many people are arguing that Kobe is incapable of playing very good defense. I certainly wouldn't argue that. But Kobe almost always guards the other team's worst perimeter player. So he's making first team All Defense for what he's capable of, not for what he actually does. There are a lot of more deserving players who actually played great defense every night during the season, instead of picking and choosing a few spots.

Kobe Bryant has not played better D than Ron, and has marked lesser players offensively all year. I can see y Bron wud get all first D team, bcos of his chase down blocks etc, so he isnt just in it for the hell of it, but Bryant is only in it bcos the NBA wants his kids
