heres something i dont get. we saw that locke got paralyzed as a result of his father pushing him out an 8th floor window. but in the flash sideways, locke tells us that he got paralyzed as a result of the plane crash. what to make of this?
im not discounting it. that's my whole point is that she isnt on the island. the other characters are discounting it, most importantly Flocke. ur prolly right tho. her being the replacement is a long shot. i think the writers meant for that to be a possibility though. thus gving us the name Kwon with no specification as to which one. She is also the only baby to have ever survived after being concieved on the island. @sm0d: it's a parallel universe. he and his dad have a good relationship and instead of his dad injurying him; locke is somewhat at fault for his dads injury. what i dont get though is that sawyers parents r still dead and same story etc. so if lockes dad is good then who conned james's folks? and why did desmond run down locke?
You know i was thinking about this, and Rose and Bernard are still on the Island, tucked away living together in peace, would be interesting if they had to get involved to deal with him. Also Smokey needed Ben to kill jacob, maybe Claire is the only one that can kill Flocke, shes on his side and it would be a betrayal much like bens betrayal of Jacob.
Man all this old stuff from past seasons. I'm gonna have to go back and watch some of the older ones again before the finale.
I actually do think that the name Kwon as the candidate is the child. I think Jack will assume the role of Jacob, Locke will remain the way he is (Smokey) and they will restart where Jacob and MIB left off. Kwon (the baby) will be a candidate that Jack will visit and "touch" so he can be replaced, thus creating the cycle all over again.
For a new undetermined series revival in a few years? If the writers do intend for this to contend as one of the greatest series of all time, I don't think it can end in a "business as usual" style. Things will have to change drastically, or even that world/island will have to end.
Not necessarily. As long as the understanding of the whole scheme is given (what is the island... why not letting the evil out... electro magnetism... numbers.... powers of jacob and MIB, etc) it does not need to have a definite ending. it can be BAU, with having our own interpretation of that continuance of the cycle. LOST creators will not provide all answers at the end of all this. http://voices.washingtonpost.com/tvblog/2010/03/lost-creators-we-may-not-answe.html Caution: the link may contain Spoilers!
'Power on, boom' doesn't work. Flocke can't kill them, remember? Flocke needed Sawyer to pull the plugs or it wouldn't have detonated.
I just realized 4 + 8 + 15 + 16 + 23 + 42 = 108. So 108 is going to be the most important candidate. It probably is Desmond. In the alt timeline Desmond seem to be the one bringing together (summing up) all the candidates.
Flocke didn't plant the C4 on the plane. If one of the losties, like Lapidus, was the one to turn the power on, I don't see why Flocke couldn't have just let the plane explode, assuming they were all on the plane.
Well Jack wouldn't have gotten on. Also they probably would've wondered why Flocke wasn't on the plane with them, though I wonder if that would've killed him.
34 = Hakeem Olajuwon 33 = Otis Thorpe 30 = Kenny Smith 11 = Vernon Maxwell 34 + 33 + 30 + 11 = 108 Wallace = Wall + Ace Ace = 1 or 11 in black jack John Wall wears #11. OMG! The Island is saying the Rockets are going to get JOHN WALL!
