    14 - Houston: Donatas Motiejunas

Analysis: The Rockets have a habit of drafting value, and this low in the draft, Motiejunas would be a good get. He'll probably spend another year in Italy honing his skills and getting stronger, but when he does get to the NBA, he has the makings of a player.

The tables are a pain to cut and paste so here's just the list of lottery picks:

    1- Wall
    2- Turner
    3- Favors
    4- Cousins
    5- Wes Johnson
    6- Aldrich
    7- Ed Davis
    8- Aminu
    9- Monroe
    10- Udoh
    11- Orton
    12- Patterson
    13- Whiteside

Wow, he has us missing out on all the big man talent. If this is how the draft unfolds I hope Morey either trades down or take Xavier Henry.

Motiejuanas looks good, he could replace Hill if Hill gets traded to Toronto for Bosh

This is Chad Ford we're talking about here. Let's not get to bogged down into what he says. It's more of a anti-mock draft coming from him. Other than Wall, he's pretty much guessing.

I'd pick Motiejunas in a heartbeat if he slipped that far. I doubt he will tho, he's a top 10 pick for sure.

I'm hoping we hang on to the pick, but just seems to me like it will be packaged in a trade

Ummm.... 7'0 Motiejunas is a one of those "big man talent" he was projected as high as the #2 pick early in the season, based on talent alone... his ceiling is as high as any one in this draft, his just very raw...

Motiejunas is a very good prospect people. I would totally be over him at 14. I would prefer the upside of Jan Vesely but he pulled out of the draft. Either way, he would be a good player in the league.

Somebody ought to link info and/or videos of him from draft websites.

Motiejunas is a very solid prospect, I would easily take him if he fell to us at #14.

But he's a PF, do we need another PF with Scola and maybe Bosh? (if not Bosh, Jordan Hill)

He might be a possible Jordan Hill replacement.

Also, you can't have too much size, just ask the Lakers.

The problem with Donatas is that he's currently far from being a possible center in NBA, he's too weak inside. He could be a weapon as shooting-scoring PF, but having Scola or even Andersen I would prefer to go for another type of player. Even a SG-SF if we consider that Shane could be traded and that the better centers are not available at that moment. Xavier Henry, for example.

I couldn't have said it much better myself...Before the season there were threads about Motiejunas or Wall, we all know how thats unfolded but Motiejunas remains a great talent. I also like the fact that he has legit height, possibly enough to backup Yao at Center?
