Meh, more like a bad music video but the song is pretty decent. Take away the silliness of that video and you'll have a decent song. Totally remind me of the early new wave musics.

No, "Caring is Creepy" by The Shins is the worst song ever. I used to really like this song when it was released in 2001 on their hit album Oh, Inverted World. But then it appeared in pop mainstream culture in the cult classic Garden State featuring Zachary Braff and Natalie Portman. The movie is about a young man who travels all the way back to his childhood home in South Orange, NJ for the funeral of his mother, but subsequently has an great unexpected journey while there. I get sidetracked, but anyways, all my mainstream friends got the soundtrack and then they started playing the track on the FM radio. Mostly college radio stations though. Alot of them shop at Hollister and Abercrombie and Fitch. I didn't want to appear like a poseur so I stopped listening to this song, which I once that was really great. Thus, I don't like The Shins anymore. One of the guy's in the band beat up his girlfriend and was kicked off the band. James Mercer, who is the lead vocals of the band, recently released an album with Danger Mouse, but am not so sure if I like urban music. Yeah, so "Caring is Creepy" is the worst song ever.
