Great episode tonight, this has been one of the best seasons of Lost. I still want to know how the flash sideways is going to tie in with what's going on on the island. Spoiler With the way everyone keeps ditching Claire I can see her killing Jack or some of the others before it's over. Who's the worst cryer? Jack, Hurley, or Kate?
Richard, Ben, and Miles went to Dharmaville to get more explosives to use to blow the plane up. The group split up after Hurley blew up the Black Rock.
Thanks, with the break last week I needed a refresher and there was no "previosly on lost" this week.
So, a couple of things. 1) I guess it doesn't matter now which Kwon was the actual candidate. I had a feeling something like this would happen after their reunion in the last episode when Jin said "I'll never leave you again". Once Sun got trapped, I knew both were toast. 2) I guess the only way off the island now the the Ajira plane. Locke in the alt timeline has a pilot's license. I'm guessing there's going to be some kind of bleed over and Smokey is going to try to fly the plane out (if he can't force Lapidus to do it). 3) At the moment, Smokey believes Claire is the only candidate left. If he can't kill her directly, I wonder if he'll try to get her to commit suicide or try to get one of Widmore's people to kill her. 4) The music box that Claire got in the flash sideways played "Catch a Falling Star" which has been a recurring theme. Claire wanted whoever was adopting Aaron to sing it to him because he father (Christian) had sung it to her. Oh, and FYI, none of the promos from now on will actually contain new footage. Notice that the promo that came on after the episode tonight was made up only of archived footage.
Sigh ....I'm actually saddened by what happened on the sub. And only this show can do that to me. And that's why I'm gonna miss it when its over. Episodes like this. BTW - I'm curious to know some of ya'lls thoughts on the spoiler and call sheet for the Finale Episode that was "accidentally" leaked to an Italian website, Macchianera. Some say its legit.... It's come to my attention that (inevitably) LOST finale spoilers are all over. Nothing's come over here yet, and I'm begging everyone to keep it that way. Find something out...DO NOT PUT IT HERE. Lapidus is dead, right? He got knocked out in the sub and presumably sank? I think Smokey knows that some people got off the sub - I don't think Claire was ever a candidate. Otherwise, he'd have wanted Claire on the sub.
About #3: Smokey already told Claire that shes not a candidate when Claire asked him if she was on the list. I think Smokey knows that not all of them are dead because he doesnt feel "free" yet.
At the very end, Smokey told Claire he knew the sub sank but knew some survived. Then he grabbed a gun and told Claire he was going to finish what he was going to do (kill Jack, Kate, Hurley, and Sawyer)
I guess you're right. Nobody else gave a **** or asked about him so I guess I forgot that he was nowhere to be seen after the water started pouring in.
I would highly recommend NOT reading any posts after whatever time the last episode you saw aired on. Everyone is clearly going to be talking about the most recent episode, so if you haven't seen it, everything's going to be a spoiler for you.
It didn't come across that way to me. It made me think he was just going after Widmore and the rest of his men.
I'm well aware of that. It's the fact that finale spoilers are popping up. I dont think anyone wants to know the finale to LOST, hence the quoting.
Sorry - this wasn't meant for you. This was just a general post for people going forward. I know a lot of people have asked for spoiler tags for discussion about current episodes, but I think it's pointless at this point.
You're right, her name was crossed out. I don't know why I though she was one. So that means there are only 3 left: Sawyer, Jack, and Hurley.
