Plan B could be Al Jefferson, he's PF/C and can back up Yao.

Plan B: Maybe same as A, except with Joe Johnson (can he play SF?)

C-G: Same as Plan A and B pretty much, except target different superstars

    Buy more second round picks
    Draft the 14th pick
Resign Lowry and Scola to reasonable deals
Give those picks times to up their trade stock
Between now and trade deadline, dangle those rookies, expirings, budinger and hill in front of teams, let them know they have options if they want to cut ties with...

    Chris Paul
    Al Jefferson
    Amare Stoudemire
    Carmelo Anthony
    Josh Smith

If there is nothing obvious that works, Morey won't force it. Our young guys will get better and Yao will be back. We should be pretty competitive without a major superstar. As long as we don't do anything rash, we'll have good assets to build around or trade for a few years coming.

I'd say Plan B is Amare Stoudemire since we were going after him at the trade deadline.

So I guess we can say that whatever plan B is, if we have to resort to it, the outcome is going to be a total abortion?

    Stoudemire/Boozer must be plan B.

Plan C is probably stand pat, re-sign Lowry/Scola, and improve through the draft.

    We have a winner!!!

Think about it....NYK lose out on Lebron and Wade where do they go now? Unless they think Lee is someone to build around (which I doubt because if that were the case they would not have cleared the cap space for TWO max contracts) they would/should just clear the same space for another run at the 2011 FA's and get their draft picks back in the process.

As much as Yming is my fav player, we need a good back up 4/5. Cant rely on health as much as I hate to say it.

    Assuming Plan A is Bosh.

    Plan B: Stoudemire
    Plan C: Iggy
Plan D: Acquire Embarrassing Photos of Sam Presti
Plan E: Lots of Alcohol, Cynthia Cooper, Dikembe Mutumbo, and a contract selling the first born male to Morey. Did I mention the lots of alcohol?
Plan F: Have Tim Grover rehab Yao
Plan G: Find mosquito stuck in Olajuwon's jersey. Extract blood from mosquito. Make an Olajuwon clone using frog dna to fill in the gaps.
Plan H: Instead off using 3 million to buy picks...use it to buy refs.

Look to trade Brooks, and maybe Hill. Brooks stock is at its peak. Hill's may be too.

Brooks, and Budinger can get you some decent players if Morey decides to make Lowry the starting PG. If the Rockets do trade Budinger and Hill, they should look to hedge that decision by signing Miller and Miller.

    Yao/Miller/Andersen
    Scola/Hayes/Jeffries
    Ariza/Battier
    Martin/Miller/Taylor
    Brooks/Lowry

Which position can you upgrade the most by trading Budinger, and Hill? Should the Rockets trade both of them to move up to the second pick in the draft? Is Evan Turner worth the risk?

I still believe the weakest positions are SF and PG postions. By trading Battier, Budinger, Brooks, and Hill to the Warriors for Curry and Maggete the Rockets could end up way over the top.

    Yao / Miller / Andersen
    Scola / Hayes / Jeffries
    Maggette / Ariza
    Martin / Miller / Taylor
    Curry / Lowry

If not, the Rockets could let it ride for half a season and determine a trade is necessary.

    Plan B is Amare
Plan C is Boozer and I would be interested in what Morey thinks of David Lee

IMO I believe Brad Miller ends up here even if Bosh, Amare, Boozer, Lee or no one else comes on board. Miller is a perfect backup center who knows Adelman's offense.

Bosh or Amare will end up here and probably for less than we think.

I don't want Bosh to be our Plan A ...it just make us become one of the contenders....

    Please give me Wade...
