Mikki Moore, Brian Grant...???? So the hair means he will be just like those two guys. Really???

Jordan's raw ability IMO most resembles Amare Stoudamire in terms of talent, but Amare is much more gifted offensively. I believe that the skill level resembles the fact that Jordan has only been playing basketball since he was a junior in high school. Which is insane because probably 98% of NBA level players have been playing at least street ball since they were 6 or 7.

If Plan A (Bosh) does not pan out then I believe that the Rockets are his best hope for developing at a high level next year. The Rockets organization is probably the top 3 in the league at devoloping big men over the years and they are extremely patient.

It all comes down to how hard can Jordan work, and how good does he really want to be. I say by next February, we will know whether he is that good or not. Right now its sort of a 50/50 coin flip. Going after Bosh only means that they are in a win now sort of mind frame and I do not blame them. But if Plan A does not pan out, well then we still have alot to be hopeful for.

I agree it all depends on how much better he wants to be. If he works hard enough he could be something special.

besides his insane athleticism he has great hands and good timing. I really think his potential is unlimited, the one thing i think he won't be able to develop is handles.

I actually meant Brian Grant pre-injury and thus, pre-afro. But now that you mention the hair...

His ceiling is sky high, and even better than Bosh. His hook/jump shots are in great form. With more palying time and confidence they are going to fall right in. His athleticism and rebounding/blocking are top of the charts. Give him 35-38 mins a game, he would be averaging 20/10/2 in the future.

But if he can realize those potential is another thing.

I think he will be able to give a team 15/8 with a block each game.

When Bosh was 22 he put up 22 and 9. Obviously he wasn't a rookie, but that is light years ahead of Hill.

I think Hill could be what Kurt Thomas ended up as a pro (in his prime). Solid D and rebounding with decent offense.

I think he is gonna be a pretty damn goo player. He is a high motor guy, with alot of raw talent and skill.

The question isn't how far can he go, but how much would he contribute within the next few years. I think it's all depends on his work ethic.

for now if hill is packaged as part for Bosh, i would pull it.

imo Hill will be at best an amazing big to have off the bench to provide energy, rebounds blocks and 10-12 points a game.

Not sure if he will ever amount to a starter averaging a double double, he has the potential but considering his frame he probably wont add too much strength and his jumper while ok, isnt solid enough to be considered dangerous.

I say Brian Grant as well.

If putback dunks were a measured skill, Hill would be among the best in the league. Its unlikely that he puts all his skills together. But he has a little bit of everything thats considered "potential" in a power forward besides dribbling.

i agree with brian grant (hair is a coincidence). maybe even a kelvin cato, which isn't necesarily a bad thing if this is gonna be a running type team. an alley-oop a couple of times a game and a couple of blocks here and there are ok. just don't see him being able to make his own shot consistently or being a go to guy.

Agree. I think both Scola and Hill make the rockets power forward position their strongest position on the entire team. Brooks and Lowry are a very close close second.
