That's what I'm wondering... LeBron isn't even in his prime yet. I don't see how anyone wouldn't want him before he entered his prime... and for what, a PG that MIGHT become an all-star in the future?
there are people that would actually pick lebron over brooks???? brooks is faster and a better 3 point shooter trade him for lebron puts us at about the same level as the nets.

Here's 10 reasons why this thread should be locked: 1. Brooks is younger than Lebron 2. Brooks is by far the greatest player ever to wear the #0 while Lebron is the 2nd greatest player to wear the #23 (behind Jordan) 3. Brooks holds the Rockets record for most 3 pointers in an NBA season while Lebron doesn't. 4. Brooks salary is much less than Lebron so we can go out and get others. 5. Brooks jersey sales in Houston are much greater than Lebron's jersey sales in Houston. 6. Lebron's elbow is hurting him = career is in jeopardy 7. Brooks resembles a famous actor (Chris Rock) while Lebron doesn't resemble anyone. 8. Brooks can out run Lebron in a foot race 9. Brooks is the Most Improved Player while Lebron has never won that award. Winning the MVP is much easier to do. 10. Brooks has more victories against the Lakers than Lebron Should I continue? Brooks = Back 2 back most improved player after next season.

And ultimately, the reason why the Rockets should never trade Brooks for Lebron James is because if the Rockets does so, there will be a MASSIVE hole at the point guard position and since Lebron can't play the point, the Rockets will then become a perennial lottery team. Brooks stays!!!
That's a great post, we also need more three-point shooters around Yao, of which there is none better than Aaron Brooks.
Aaron Brooks is a proven clutch player while Lebron has choked numerous times. We've all seen that Martin shies away from the ball in the last seconds, so losing Brooks would mean we have no one to give the ball to in the clutch moments of a game.
