I know I have pretty terrible deals in the past, but here are reasons why I think I should get the Spurs, while someone else can take the Lakers like Htownhero or 3814. *I made trades in the past by looking at player's names, not ratings. I have been in this sim for 2 seasons now and I guarantee I wouldn't screw the Spurs. *I am in mdukes sim league as a few of you are. Granted the league isn't the smartest, I made Dallas a great team and a team with the ability to win the championship. There is a trade committee there so it's hard to rip people. I leave the choice to you. I understand if I can't get a new team, because I screwed the Lakers badly. If you look at it in 4 years they can be a good team with the right GM. They have a lot of good picks and will have a lot of money to sign players. SF3 I'll be in chat most of the day.
Does the term, "You reap what you sow" mean anything to you? First, you ask SF3 to adjust your player ratings. Since that didn't work, you are now asking to switch teams? Good grief.
This is off topic SF3, but I thought I'd piggyback this thread instead of starting another one. Is there anyway you can post the waiting list and list the teams that may be opening up?

I think I would speak for a lot of the people in the sim in saying that deve should have to keep his team. I mean I didnt even get to choose my team and I am more than willing to wait till they are out of cap purgatory and start building my team. Sure I would love to go to a decent team right now but thats not how the game should be played. Slash and Burn move on to the next team. Thats just not right for the next guy to take deves lakers. Deve just work through this, you did it, you fix it. Time to step up and be a man, consider this your bbs fantasy forum right of passage
I dont think it's fair to give the new owner a severley messed up Lakers team, why dont they just take the Spurs....
Exactly. Whoever is the new owner, had to wait a few weeks or whatever to take over a team. On the other hand, we have this owner who drives the team into the ground, and expects to be able to move onto a better team, where he can drive them into the ground too. I took over a crappy team, and it still is crappy. Yet, I haven't even entertained the idea of switching teams.

Deve's swapped genders before, so he figured swapping FBB teams would be easier. I guess he was wrong.
