Look, I hate the Mavs as much as the next guy. But unless y'all are all teenagers, how can you not realize the True Evil that is the Spurs?

    Check the Rings, folks.

The Mavs may have gotten the best of the Rockets in very recent history. They are soft and have a whining owner.

The Spurs downright OWNED the Rockets for the better part of a decade (and amassed FOUR Championships in the process).

I'm not saying to stop hating the Mavs with all your might. Just be careful where you place them on the pantheon of Douchy Teams.

    Carry on.

I feel conflicted about this, but not because I hate the Spurs. I was very happy to watch the Mavs lose. But I also thought they had the best chance to knock off the Lakers, so I'm a little worried now that LA will have an easier path to the Finals.

As much as I hate the Jazz, Kobe Bryant is never the lesser of any evils in my book. I would go for Utah over the Lakers.

its funny that the mavericks have a longer streak of not getting out the first round then us now .... and that is so sweet :)

Exactly how I feel. Conflicted, but if they couldn't beat the Spurs, in the end L.A. would have beaten them.

Watching the Mavs get eliminated is the most fun to be had outside of the Rockets winning a championship.

Now I just wait for the thuggets to finish off the j*zz and it's party time again.

good post, its kind of a kick in the pants now because the only team that will be able to stop the lakers is the jazz. Hopefully Deron is able to lead this team by scoring 30 a night on D Fish.

For the record... i'd rather see the mavericks win a title before the lakers ever win another. I hate the lakers with a passion.

Very happy, but there is still work to be done. The Jazz, Lakers, and Spurs are still alive.

Everyone's an enemy in the west. Until the Rockets win it, I'd be happy with the East going on an epic winning streak. I wouldn't have a problem with Phoenix winning though.

glad they lost but not too happy with the officiating. I can see in the last game why cuban is frustrated with the officiating. There were some bad calls from the perspectives of a Mav's fan. The FT and foul disparity was pretty big. Oh well . .It's THe NBA. they love the lakers, cavs, any super star and for some reason the Spurs. I think its their one excuse to say SEE we dont favor the big Market teams.

Technically, we're tied, since neither of us got out of the first round this year.

Kids these days. Never learned the chain of loyalty.

    Team/City -> State/Division -> Conference

There's never a valid excuse to pull for the disgusting Leastern Conference. Never.
